Nah bro. You predicted a close fight that could go either way.

I thought frampton would win but credit to Santa Cruz for making adjustments and using his jab to keep the fight at his distance. He was a bit sharper and won clearly. That doesn't erase the first fight he lost. Santa Cruz is a good kid, happy for him

Like reed mentioned though, garcia stole the show with a vicious ko of a legit opponent. He's the real deal, one of the elite practitioners in the sport and it's a shame 2 years of his prime went to waste. Even more of a shame bitter Bob arum will probably stand in the way of compelling fights between garcia and lomachenko/crawford

No Frampton groupie here, I don't give a shit about either one. But credit to SC for making adjustments and winning the fight. Frampton clearly won the first, SC clearly won the rematch. A trilogy is a must.

Neither Frampton nor SC are elite featherweights. I'd pick Gary Russell over either one.

i would pick russell over both as well. but that doesn't mean frampton and santa cruz are not top fighters. neither are p4p entrants. that is for sure. if that is what you mean by elite, then i agree.

Clear win for SC. Would be happier to see both fighters move on to different opponents, second fight was decent but not that compelling to watch.

Agreed. Let them fight a few other guys before going to a rubber. The rematch made sense , since the first fight was so close and was a thriller. This one wasn't very close, nor very fun.

I meant that both are "good" fighters, but not high end talents, yes.

Neither one would go the distance with Oscar Valdez, for example.
