Did anyone watched Game of Thrones last night? No one is commenting on Nathalie Emmanuelle's Missandei beautiful naked scene? This girl is the most beautiful creature ever in this series.

Dude what are you a teenager? It was a nude scene big deal. Bitch ain't got nothing I haven't seen a thousand times over. Now I'll agree she had a banging body and is a very attractive woman, but nobody said shit about it, so what? I did want to mention one thing though.

This is easily the worst season ever. Everything in almost every episode feels like filler. You'll get a couple of big cool moments in an episode but most every other moment in these episodes feels like it's just filler to get to the cool moments. None of the other seasons ever felt like that to me. I mean that story Tyrian gave about the beetles was obvious filler and it wasn't even that interesting. Just a bunch of crap going on lately that seems to be dragging out a season that probably would have been 3 or 4 episodes long without all the filler. That's how it feels.

This season had more jawdroping moments than previous seasons. The death of Joffrey, Arya becoming a killer, Lysa's demise and last night's fight rank among the greatest moments in the series.

 

What about the death of Ned Stark, the Red Wedding, and Arya became a killer last season. Every season has those type moments. It's what happens between those moments that make this season shit.

 

Death of Ned Stark was in t first season. Red Wedding season 3. Arya kill someone last time, but this time she seems to become cold blooded killer. IMO this season has more jawdroping moments per episode than previous ones. Daenerys cruxifying all the masters, Joffrey's death, Tyrion's trial, the Wildlings carnage, Brann Stark finally killing someone, Jon Snow becoming a leader, a main character turning out to be a traitor all this time, Lysa's death, Sansa starting to stop being a cry baby and apparently going to play Littlefinger's game of deception, the red viper vs the mountain fight outcome and I am sure the season finale will end with a bang as usual.

 

I still say every season has had it's share of jaw dropping moments. Even if this season has had more jaw dropping moments than others it still feels like the weakest season so far. That tells me:
lesser jaw dropping + stronger supporting stories > more jaw dropping + weaker supporing stories.

 

I think this has been the best season by far. The filler you speak of are some of the best moments on the show. I thought the beetle story was fucking brilliant AND funny. I love the talks between Jamie and Tyrion.

Word. That beetle story served as a perfect metaphor for the outcome of the duel between the red viper & the mountain, plus it gave us a glimpse at both Tyrion's & Jamie's childhood. It was a nice, gentle bonding moment between the two brothers before the carnage that followed.

 

Aye, Ah've seen that scene where Oberyn is topped and it shocked me, Ah must confess. It wiz his teeth being knocked oot and scattered across the flagstones and then seeing his mangled mooth screaming as the Moontain dug his thumbs intae Oberyn's eyes.

Fuck those people's reactions. Funny thing is how much the Red Viper's voice reminds me so much of a young Antonio Banderas.

A LOT of women seem to love it...I know that much.

I guess I've never been into demons, wizards, sword n sorcery stuff...

 

Hot, sexy, like her energy, sassyness and even her accent. I find her one of the most desirable women on the show as far as the whole package goes factoring in personality and stuff. Only 2 bad things about her, 1 she's a whore and 2...well the ol woman scorned thingy.

 

Demons, wizards, sword n sorcery isn't the foundation of the show. In fact all that stuff is really very far down the list of what makes the show awesome. What makes Games the best show on television, is the dialogue, the characters, the story, even the costumes, and the different lands the story covers. The theme being in the land of kings may not interest people like you who don't like sword and knight movies but the politics about each kingdom's character striving to be king or just trying to survive would.

Game of Thrones is less Conan the Barbarian and more Godfather than people like you realize. I got into Game of Thrones for the same reason I got into The Wire, I was tired of hearing how awesome it was and had to see for myself if it was true. In both instances it was. So I challenge you DM to just watch the first episode. If the dialogue, characters and story don't draw you in, if the swords and sorcery is too distracting for you then all you've lost is an hour out of your day. But if like the rest of the world, you find it interesting then you are in for some of the best tv viewing of your life.
