It seems Cersei gave them too much control already and there's nothing to be done. Danaerys have no idea what's going on in King's Landing, and anyways she needs ships to get there and it could take her months or years to travel. Also things are not under control in Mereen, her dragons are a mess and she can't control them. Her dragons are what she could use to wreak havoc and fuck everybody up. She needs to tame them, not treat them like babies.

That was a bad scene. Maybe the worst in the history of the show.

They need a big rebound episode this week.

Yeah, that was not only the best episode of this season (Dany & Tyrion having a long chat! awesome! Cersei getting even more humiliation! Sansa shaking Theon and obtaining vital information! ), but it gave us the most EPIC battle so far in the history of the show! Those last 20 minutes are the reason we watch this show. And now everything pales as this was a game changer on a ritcher scale: who cares who eventually sits on the iron trone, f@#&% WINTER IS HERE and it is a f@#$% NIGHTMARE FOR EVERYBODY!!!

    ****SPOILER**********

For a moment it looked like John Snow was going to be another shocking casualty, that kept me on the edge o my seat.

I love GOT, but i really dont care for the winter/Zombie/Supernatural aspect of the show. The politics of the show make it great. When it turns into that gay shit, i get kind of turned off. The fight scene was great though

Well, for a Fantasy show, they really limit the Supernatural stuff, compared to others. There's a horde of World War Z Zombies on the horizon and a grand total of 3 Dragons floating around on the edges of the show.

The Zombies will always be a focal point of the plot, but I doubt they will linger on them for long.

If you like the politics, I have a feeling most of the remainder of the show will most likely deal with the different groups of enemies and allies having to understand the threat and figuring out ways to either band together or die, through whatever political means necessary.

They'll save the dragons and zombies for the occasional large set pieces and battles to keep us interested in the action every 5 episodes or so.

Well i think once the mother of dragons wages war on everyone, it will be great TV. I just cant wait for the show to catch up to the books so these assholes stop posting spoilers.

LOL. I think I've successfully avoided most spoilers, though it's not easy. From what I've understood, since Martin has fallen so far behind in writing the books, the producers of the show have already started going "off script" in anticipation of having to create their own story lines.

How accurate that is, I don't know, since I consciously avoid most information regarding anybody chiming in about spoilers.

Andy Greenwald writes a nice weekly re-cap on Grantland.com, not having read the books, and expressly prohibiting mention of the books in the comments sections.

I avoid them too, but when you have fucking Yahoo post the spoilers in their headlines and everyone in the media just assumes DVRs dont exist, it's difficult. I have given up and just started watching the shows live, just to avoid this shit.

Yeah, I hear you. I usually don't watch until later in the week but it's becoming harder and harder. Between the wife wanting to watch it with me, but falling asleep before it even starts and spoilers during the week, I've taken to secretly watching on the same night while saving it on the DVR for the wife and I to watch later (and I pretend to be surprised by everything the 2nd time around).

Martin just started writing the next book, but the series have already catch up with the books and the 'know-it-all' asshole book fans are already whining about the show possibly 'ruining' the books.

The book will be ready for publishing by spring 2016 practically coinciding with Season 6 premiere. I guess Martin at least gave the series writers an outline or summary of the book's plot for continuity sake.

The series writers stated that they would get away from the books from now on. Do you think the writers know the ending of the story already?

Great episode! So these fuckers can't swim? And was Snow's sword made from dragon glass, too?

I don't too much mind the supernatural stuff but I agree my favorite aspects of the show is the politics, dialogue, and drama.

No it's not dragon glass but that super hard metal valeryian steel. I believe there are only three Valeryian steel swords remaining in Westeros. The one given to Joffery as a wedding present (I suppose the new King owns it now). The one Jamie Lanister gave to Brienne of Tarth, and John Snow's.

According to the books, Sam’s dad Randyll Tarly has a Valyrian blade called “Heartsbane,” and a few other houses that have never been mentioned on the show also have ancestral blades. And don’t forget the Valyrian-steel dagger that was used in the assassination attempt on Bran’s life. Littlefinger has that beauty now. To give you perspective, there’s a quote from Tyrion Lannister in the books that says, “Valyrian steel blades were scarce and costly, yet thousands remained in the world, perhaps two hundred in the Seven Kingdoms alone.”
