    Nah...

10,000 Didn't Show Up BECAUSE of Mikkel Kessler, they Showed Up Because Andre Ward was the HOMETOWN Guy...They Could've Put "Andre Ward Fights for his 1st World Title" on the Marquee & Posters & 10,000 STILL Would've Shown Up that Night...

To Act as if ANYBODY in Oakland, California Gave a Fuck about Kessler is Komical...

For the 15th Time, REED is Criticizing GGG FANS for EXPECTING Cotto's Midget Ass to Accommodate GGG's Wishes...

Before Anointing a Guy THE Best Offensive Fighter in the World, he Should have a BETTER Resume than GGG Does...

Off the Top of REED's Dome, Gamboa's Fought BETTER Guys, BIGGER Guys & is Just as Potent, Offensively...

WHO has GGG Beaten???...Curtis Stevens, Baby!!!...

I hold champions to a high standard myself... If you wish to be called THE Champion of the world, it's a good idea to actually fight people who challenge the validity of that title... If Cotto didn't want to fight uninjured Middleweights, he should have stayed where he was... No one is stating Cotto has any written obligation to fight GGG (sanctioning shenanigans work in Cotto's favor there) but he should fight him as long as he claims the title of The Champ

What middleweight does he need to fight that he hasn't fought yet?

    LOL at Gamboa...

do you really? i appreciate plenty of skilled fighters who others consider boring but ward is just not a guy who entertains me stylistically. he's mostly a one armed guy, mauls and grabs a lot when he is in with opponents who can punch.

The Martinez Fight was an OPPORTUNISTIC Venture for Cotto...

He KNEW he Wasn't a Middleweight, but ALSO Knew Martinez was Inactive, Injured, 40 Years Old & a Natural Jr. Middle Himself...Martinez Saw Cotto has LOW Risk, HIGH Reward & Offered him a Shot, Which Obviously Blew Up in his Face...

NONE of that Makes Miguel Cotto a LEGIT Middleweight, All of a Sudden...

I don't know about the bigger guys part, but Gamboa's wins over Salido and Pounced On De Leon rate higher than any victory GGG has. True?

Hell, even in his loss to Crawford he earned a level of respect for getting up as often as he did.

the only guys currently at 160 who could make for interesting fights are quillin, korobev or murray. would he suddenly start to get more credit if he bashed one or two of them?

I do like watching Ward. He can fight inside and outside while also taking away your best weapons. So yes, I find that entertaining.

Plus, he's physically stronger than he appears. I've yet to see anyone out-muscle him on the inside.

He didn't maul Froch or Dawson and he put a lot of hurt on both those guys. If he didn't hurt his left hand which made him stop using it in the later half of the Froch fight he would have put far more hurt on Carl.

of course not, the same guys would be saying "oh, those are marginal guys"

Barring a fight against Ward where he either wins or loses competitively, the same shit being said about Golovkin right now will continue to be said even if he were to bash all three of those guys

Even in LOSING to Crawford, Gamboa Did NATHAN to Diminish his Offensive Reputation...Considering how UNDERsized he Was that Night, he Actually BOLSTERED it, in REED's Opinion...

Cotto wouldn't fight GGG even if margarito let him use his handwraps for a night.

I already asked you who he needs to fight at 160 to prove himself?

I also asked if you cared to point out the junior middleweight out of his last 4 opponents

Not hard to make an educated guess of what the future holds barring this guy doing anything other than KOing Andre Ward

But it obviously helped in a big way that it was a known, good fighter like Kessler.

You really think there would have been just as many people watching if he'd fought a borderline unknown scrub like Geale?

How many tickets has Ward sold in Oakland in other fights? IE against opponents worse than Kessler, and less known?

I'd like to see him fight Quillin, which I think can happen.

Secondly, isn't Ishida the light-punching former Jr. Middleweight that made his name by KOing James Kirkland with a jab? That fight was fought at 160 due to Kirkland being out of the ring and couldn't make 154.

After Ishida beat Kirkland he fought Paul Williams at 154 (and lost).

He went back up to 160 (and lost)

    Then he fought GGG

Or does that count him out as a jr. middle?
