I have a feeling that Canelo's durability is overrated. He won't see 12.

Same. He was getting backed up by little Floyd's right hands.

Let's see what happens when he tastes true middleweight power. He's obviously not a glass chinned bum, and his beard must be decent to have never even been knocked down to my knowledge, but taking shots from a proper middleweight puncher like Gennady is a whole new kettle of fish, and something Canelo has no experience of.

And though Canelo has good power at 154, I think he doesn't hit as hard as LeMook at 160. I reckon Gennady walks him down and gives him an epic beatdown as soon as he realises Canelo doesn't pose much of a threat. I wouldn't be surprised if Gennady gets him out of there in 6 rounds if he's really on point and not past it like many think.

First fight on Boxnation to go PPV, if I'm not mistaken. So, if I have the channel through BT Sport, do I have to pay £16.95? What's the deal, yo?

Jimmy, I was wondering the same thing. From what I gather, we still have to pay. I think you get it for free if you're a normal 12 quid a month BoxNation subscriber, rather than getting it free with BT Sport.

Yep, then the Canelo Haters will DIScredit his Win on the Premise of Triple B Being "Past His Best", Instead of Simply Admitting they were WRONG...

Fact of the Matter is, Triple G's "Decline" has Coincided w/Him Facing THE 2 Best Guys of his Career...

Nobody says shit like that besides the most delusional of Golovkin groupies. And ironically, there's actually NO Golov groupies on Fightbeat that I can think of. There's posters who like him, but I don't think he's anybody's #1 favorite fighter on this forum.

I think you're attacking the HBO hype machine moreso than any fan. Kellerman and Lampley were the ones who created and promoted that "Golov only gets hit when he wants to" rhetoric.

Furthermore, Golovkin absolutely WILL get hit by Canelo. There's no way around it. Canelo's an accurate puncher, and Golovkin is an offensive fighter who's no defensive wiz.

HOWEVER, yall are acting like Canelo's not gonna get hit a lot ALSO! Since when did Ginger himself become a defensive wiz? And while Golovkin's chin has at least been tested by SEVERAL dangerous punchers, including that fucking bum Curtis Stevens who YOU picked to upset Golov, Canelo has never faced a puncher. Not one. So it's amusing that you and Sly just assume that he can take Golov's heat for 12 rounds with no problem.

You See What You WANT to See, Brother X, Because REED Can Think of @ Least 2 Posters Who've Uttered as Much In THIS VERY Thread...

If Memory Serves, REED "Picked" Curtis Stevens @ the Tail End of a Fightbeat Prediction Contest he was TRAILING In...REED Needed to Do Something OUTSIDE of the Box to Have a Chance @ Winning the Contest...

But If You Harken Back to REED's Actual Posts on the Matter, he Spoke of Stevens Being Triple G's Sternest Test to that Point, Which he WAS...No More, No Less...

Don't Make REED Reach Out to Caligula to List All the Predictions YOU Botched, Bruh!!!...

The point remains that Golovkin has fought Stevens, LeMoo, Brook, and Jacobs. Four guys with legitimate pop, and not one was able to seriously hurt the guy.

Canelo's punch resistance isn't as proven, when Cotto is the biggest puncher he's faced... a guy whose power peaked at 140-147.

Khan, Smith, and Chumpez have done NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING to prepare Canelo for Golov. All those three fights have done was give people a false sense about how good he is. All by Golden Boy's design.

P.S... I'm not preparing to make any "Golovkin was past it" excuses if Canelo wins... because I don't think Golov's THAT past to where he should lose this fight.

The ONLY way I'm gonna discredit a Canelo win, is if it's a win the judges gift him.

If he wins this fight LEGITIMATELY, my hats off to him.

To be quite frank, usually I'm confident in my predictions until the week of the fight, then I start to re-analyze and often become unsure.

But this fight has been the OPPOSITE... I was hesitating with my Golov pick for a bit, but going into fight week I feel VERY confident. Golovkin is kickin this chump's ass on Saturday.

Angulo and kirkland looked like possible tests on paper but both men appeared shot to shit when they got in the ring with alvarez

Does anyone think kirkland would have made it out of round 1 vs golovkin?

By all accounts, a younger Golovkin beat the ever living shit outta a PRIME Angulo in sparring. To the point where they stopped it cause Perro was getting beat so bad.

Kirkland's never been a one shot KO artist. Cotto's left hook is harder/more powerful than any punch Kirkland throws.

Kirkland landed some shots that alvarez weathered. Kirkland was coming off what, a 2 year layoff?

To be fair, I don't think any version of Kirkland beats Alvarez. He always had a shit defense, and he has always had a mediocre, at best, chin.

But I do think the Kirkland of the Angulo fight would have gone longer, and given Canelo a tougher fight. Ultimately, Ginger still stops him though.

REED Never Said Kirkland WAS a 1 Hitter Quitter, but he was Unquestionably a HARDER Puncher than Miguel Cotto Was, as it Pertains to Canelo Alvarez...

And for the 51st Time, Kirkland's Style was Never EVER Predicated on Him Being ACTIVE or SHARP...He was a CRUDE Brawler, so if Anything, Downtime ProLoooooooooooooooooooonged his Career...

Unquestionably, James Kirkland Hit Canelo Alvarez HARDER than Miguel Cotto Ever Did...

Pre-California-to-Florida drive Angulo was a hard puncher
