Canelo came forward? Maybe for the first few rounds...but enough lead right hands and jabs to the body landed from Mayweather...to make Canelo a bit lukewarm in his aggression. At best at best Canelo won 2 rounds.

Canelo mighta landed a few body shots...but not enough per round to win the fight......I don't remember one occassion were Canelo landed anything to the head of FLoyd...I'm sure he DID but it had zero effect...

    Alvarez 1 and 11: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/boxing/2013/09/15/floyd-money-mayweather-saul-canelo-alvarez-round-by-round/2814989/

    Alvarez 6: http://www.boxinginsider.com/headlines/mayweather-vs-canelo-round-by-round-results-mayweather-proves-hes-simply-the-best/

    Alvarez 4: http://www.mmafighting.com/2013/9/14/4726670/floyd-mayweather-vs-canelo-alvarez-live-round-by-round-updates

    Alvarez 2 and 3: http://www.thesweetscience.com/floyd-mayweather-vs-saul-canelo-alvarez-round-by-round-updates

Like I said, I'm not saying Alvarez won, but those are the first sites I could find and we now have Alvarez winning 6 different rounds on 4 different scorecards.

i disagree. alvarez has a major fan base and big money will come in from mexico that fight weekend. i expect the odds to be between even and golovkin no more than a 2-1 favorite

So Canelo get's to keep his strap for a few more months? Get an easy fight in May....then if anything goes well him and GGG will bang out in September???...nah I don't see it!!!!!

Both Canelo and GGG will have an in-between fight in May or so maybe in the same card.....but I see GBP waiting till NEXT May date 2017 to get them in the RING together......or FLOYD can always come out of retirement and try to take the SEPTEMBER date from Canelo again...

well between even and 2-1 is a pretty big margin and I wouldn't call 2-1 close to it. I expect the odds to be closer to 2-1 than to even. Are the vegas odds often much different on fight night than on pinnaclesports or 5dimes?

wow, I just can't agree with this. It was way closer to a whitewash than an even fight

It's obviously a substantial margin when you're betting thousands. I'll say this for vegas odds, when you got a popular, major Star it can change drastically. I saw bradley by decision jump from +500 to +750 in hours and go back down, vs Pacquaio the first fight. Big payday. Alvarez has that type of fan base. Only problem is the smart money will be on golovkin and mexicans also hold him in high regard.

If it stays closer to 2-1 I won't amp up the bet as much but if it drifts toward even that's too juicy to pass up

Supposedly sites are paying $4.50 and youre offering (what i believe works out to) $2.25 ?? Regardless, if i cant find a place that offers these odds, I'd go $100 on it.

Canelo going to fight at 160 with no catchweight? That's what I'm hearing.

The same way Wilder was going to be brutally KOd by Stiverne and look foolish in doing so, Amir Imam, the second best 140 pounder in the world was going to have no trouble beating the bum he was facing, and Andy Lee should have absolutely no problems disposing of Saunders. You're on a roll so why stop now?

I was just about to say....the WBC is a Mexican Organization.

Now one fighter that the WBC did do favours for, and who was not Mexican, was Vitali.

Wbc realizes a guy who will respect the green belt and pay fees. Alvarez don't need to

Just as Alvarez got shit for seeking a catchweight when he never has, he was the guy who paid the WBC fees to get the belt when Cotto did not.

I agree that Alvarez needs a belt less than GGG, though. However, I think they'll both continue to fight for belts for the foreseeable future. The naïve belts-don't-matter contingent has two groups--PBC and dense fans. They are neither.

Okay, he's a WARRIOR! I agree with this.

Chavez Jr. and Gypsy Joe Saunders have both wiped their asses with him. BUT he's a WARRIOR!
