A 15mil Flat Fee + a % of the European PPV Sales Seems Fair to GGG...NOBODY In Europe Will Purchase that Fight to SEE Canelo Alvarez, Per Se...

Yeah. GGG has no choice at this point. He's not a spring chicken. If he wants to ever have a big fight on his resume, in the absence of an unlikely fight against Ward or Kovalev at a higher weight, this is the one for him, and he has to take it now. The longer he waits to fight Canelo the better Canelo's chances of victory given the ages of the two. Also he doesn't want to risk either man losing in the interim. If he believes in himself he has to bow and take the fucking fight.

He's no megastar that's in a position to negotiate ad infinitum because he knows he'll make $20M against anyone he fights. He needs this fight to become such a star.

    You're saying that Golov-Canelo will outsell Tyson-Holy 1 & II.

Sorry. I can't agree with that.

We shall see, but I'm sticking with my 850-950k prediction. I wouldn't be shocked if it does break a mil, but it ain't coming close to 2.

The only people I've ever heard talking about Golovkin(in person) are Mexican-Americans. The same group of fans that Canelo is most popular with. The fight definitely has the potential to put up some numbers. But Reed makes a good point. One guy speaks no English and the other talks like Borat. Neither one has much of a smack talk/hype personality either. I say it does a little over a million.

Cotto was the main ticket seller in the Canelo fight.
