I dreamed about this last night, probably because I read about this fight in the London Evening Standard on a packed tube while sweating my flu sweat. Rubio will drop Gaybox in this fight, believe me , he will be close to a stoppage and then Gaybox will come back to win late on.

 

Be nice to see ggg in with a guy as accomplished as Gonzalez or margarito. But I guess for you it wouldn't matter since you can tell how good a fighter is regardless of the opponent. Golovkin needs to be careful that he doesn't rot on the vine. It's not fair for him to have move up or down but that's boxing. His people should just throw caution to the wind and offer Canelo 60% of the purse for a fight at 160.

 

True. A win over Canelo would put him on the driver's seat. It's just a matter of ego. It's not that people are afraid to fight him, he's a high risk low reward type of fighter. People line up to fight Manny even though they know he will probably kick their asses, but it's a high reward match. You will lose against someone better so your stock won't go down, you will get more exposure and you will get a fat paycheck. GGG's people should BEG for Cotto or Canelo to fight him and take less money. If it doesn't works he might stay at 160 and fight the bum of the month or move up and fight the Frochs and Wards of the division.

 

I think Froch might be ready to be taken out in a fight or two, by the likes of GGG that is, not DeGale. If GGG lands the sort of right hand that Groves did, then its big trouble for Carl.

I think Frampton might have been thrown in deeper earlier but he is older, also. He's been very clinical. GGG might be the harder more varied puncher. Frampton seems to make very few mistakes. Right now I would say Framps has done more but GGG will do more, if you follow.
