Uh, you got the wrong guy pal. I don't like bullshit like Transformers and what not. Dramas are my favorite genre, and I'd take good pacing and dialogue over great action scenes every time out the gate.

You may like dramas, but you like Dramas that are in your face. Dramas that dont require you to think. Dramas that tell you how to feel and when to feel it. You dont like movies that make you have to search within your own life or own memories to try and relate. And god forbid a drama takes a long time to reach the precious gem it's trying to show you. Well for sure, your girlfriend will fall asleep and you will turn it off.

Uhm, no that's not true at all. I mean yeah, I don't like movies made by Terrance Malik, but I like all kinds of dramas. How about this, you don't sit there and tell people what types of movies they like and I won't do the same to you. Only a moron would sit and try to argue with someone about what type of movie they like. Like I told you before people's tastes in films vary. So please don't sit there and try to make it look like you're on some kind of holler than thou movie plane that I haven't reached yet.

The movie gets incredible reviews. Are there more guys who seen the movie? I'll be hitting the theaters soon. According to most reviewers, the 3D really ads something.

I'm not a huge 3D proponent but I do think in this case, it does add a lot of the visceral feeling to the outer space and action scenes, along with giving more of a sense of the vastness and total isolation of feeling abandoned in space.

The interior scenes, it's unnecessary and doesn't matter a lick.

I convinced the tribe to go watch it on Saturday night after dinner, but then it took like forever at the restaurant just to bring our meals to the table and by the time we got out we missed the last showing. Maybe next weekend.

I watched the movie two days ago. It was one big struggle, from beginning to end. Good movie, but not as good as they say. The movie was very realistic btw.

Watched it yesterday. Gotta agree with Rainmaker: good movie, but not great. Way overhyped. It reminded me too much of 1969 "Marooned', a movie that looked like a NASA training film. 'Gravity' is hyped as 'realistic', but the obvious basic physics laws violations were way too distracting for me...as well as Clooney playing Clooney, cool, calm and relaxed in the face of disaster and doom. Bullock delivers a strong performance, though. 8/10

It wasn't a fucking documentary or even "based on a true story". :dunno:

He didn't said it was a documentary or based on a true story, but if you are trying to recreate a possible scientific scenario you better stick to the known data or you'll get incredulous responses from the audience. It s like if in the end of 'Titanic' Jack suddenly pulled out a scuba diving equipment and behaved like the freezing water temperatures didn't bother him at all.

A boring movie that looked good. 3D actually added something to this film, but the plot was like an exercise of creative writing course. One person makes up the main character, the second thinks a task that she tries to complete, then every odd person comes up with a new problem and every other a way to solve the problem. 6,5/10

It was decent. Visually awesome but the story was too absurd.
