I've read it 8 times and can't figure out what I was trying to say... First big fight I paid for maybe :dunno:
Ouch. I can imagine a lot of people not really wanting to watch boxing anymore if that was the first live fight they witnessed.
Yeah just look at the post above yours. The way it's formatted you just don't see what is quoted text.
I don't know much about message board software but I assume when things are archived the formatting (and other things) gets removed.
It probably has to do with what happens when it's archived. Certain things might be removed for space purposes. Even if it's not removed, newer forum software might not be able to import the older format it was stored in without some losses as well.
i was already a big time boxing fan when tyson came around but loved watching his fights. i'm a big fan
As per probably many of you, Tyson was the reason I was a casual boxing fan as a kid. Duran turned me into a hardcore boxing fan as a teenager.
Tyson vs Bruno was the talk of my primary school for what seemed like an eternity back in the day. Apart from McGuigan vs Pedroza, it was probably the 2nd time a boxing match had permeated everyday life.
I became a casual fan with Maske and Schulz. Yeah the boxing fan in me was very strong... :: Then I watched Roy Jones...
Whenever Frank Bruno fought for the title, it was a polarizing affair in Britain: Whites wanted Bruno to win and blacks wanted his opponent to win.
HELL YEAH! Complete total and utter "sellout". He was essentially a guy that prided himself on being the big dumb black guy that made everyone laugh....he even did pantomime one time dressed up as a princess. He was an embarrassment to all blacks.
Nah, Bruno's rep had already been destroyed by the time he buddied up with Nigel Benn, besides Benn was a blithering idiot himself
