Literally JUST finished Season 4. It was good. A lot better than Season 3, which was by far the weakest.

Nothing really compares to the first 2 seasons, however, which were just off the charts good.

Still, I'm looking forward to Season 5 next year.

The prior season killed any interest me & my wife had in this series. Haven't bothered to check this new one.

I finished the first season of HoC and although I did enjoy it I don't think I'm going to watch the following seasons. I guess the closest explanation I can give is the show just doesn't have my interest enough. I think it started off very good but the closer I got to the end of the season the more I wanted to reach the end of the season and get it over with. That's the difference with great shows as they never have you wanting to reach the finale. Hell, when I'm in the middle of GoT I'm usually dredding the thought of getting to the finale and cursing that it's only 10 episodes a year.

I am at episode 7 where this Conway fella is introduced. So they think a 30 year old mix of Markus Schenkenberg/Dolph Lundgren and a 25 year old british Lady should be casted as the republican frontrunner and his wife? Seriously? :tick:

Conway is a totally unlikable faggot.

The best character, besides Spacey, is definitely Doug Stamper. The most loyal sonuvabitch in TV history.

He's so loyal to Spacey, that it's only fitting if the series eventually ends with Doug double crossing him. I predict that'll happen in the last season, whenever that is.

Meechum was equally loyal. I liked the scene where the president analyses him for a few seconds when Seth accuses him of leaking information. Ahhh no come on you're a good boy, you could never do that...

Conway I really don't get. I mean they could have casted someone like Ted Cruz - still unlikable faggot but believable at least. This guy should star in Hitman 3 or something like that...

Meechum was loyal because he was a closet fag and he and Underwood were secretly in lust.

Doug is a heterosexual. She just LOVES the shit outta Underwood the way a German Shepherd loves its owner.

I watched the first four or five episodes of the first season and stopped there.

Daytime soap operas and telenovelas are more believable.

There is no pay off if you find it boring. Just stop now and try a different series. I'd highly recommend the OJ Simpson show, that shit is awesome.

My first impression of the seris was that it was another version of old detective stories, as was House. The brilliant yet outrageous main character solves cases, in this case political ones, in unique ways. After five episoded or so it picked up and got more depth.

I thought the 3rd and 4th seasons were pretty good too, although not as good as the first two. Somebody mentioned that Underwood is perhaps too dominant a figure and I think that is true at least partially. A guy as clever and ruthless as him who dethrones the president as quickly and easily as he does and has no match for himself, would probably have become the president much sooner.

I still haven't watched the last season. It could be good but for some reason I haven't gotten into it

As much as they TRIED to pretend like Jenny Gump was the star of HOC, it was utter horse shit. This was 150% Spacey's show - with him gone of course the final season was gonna be a joke.
