Wilder has great power, it's rather obvious.

I'm a bit surprised that the guy is not more popular. He Ko these fools out, has an aggressive style, always get into verbal beef (kidz like that nowadays) and has the look.

Sure, he's a bit of a scrub skill wise, but most causual don't really care about this

Aside from Szpilka and that Belarusian I can't recall many legit ko's. It's mostly what appears to look like border line early stoppages/quit jobs preceded by a hail storm of rabbit punches

Agreed, hw division is such a mess right now that 2 guy's with barely any boxing skills are considered the best. Still, abysmal talent pool doesn't mean we can't have fun fight and this one has the potential to be good. I do favor Wilder though as he is more dynamic than a plodding Ortiz (and who knows how much Ortiz has left in the tank without PED's)

"Honestly", There's Not a Shred of Evidence Illustrating That...Not Sure How it's "Obvious" to You, But Okay...

Stiverne was a Tough, Proud Former Titlist...He Told Anyone Who'd Listen he "Wasn't Right" in their 1st Bout and Would Make it Abundantly Clear in the RE...

Then he Gets Knocked the Fuck Out in Less than a Round...

Again, There's ZERO Evidence of Him Laying Down for Wilder And ZERO Incentive...What, he was All of a Sudden FRIGHTENED by a Dude he Went 12 Rounds w/???

    Makes NO Sense...

Not frightened. More like cashing out at the tail end of career with minimal damage. Can you at least concede that Malik Scott took a dive?

If You CANT Even Acknowledge the Stiverne KO was Impressive, it's Pretty Obvious Wilder Just ISNT Your Cup of Tea...

In a Year Filled w/Good KO's, Wilder-Stiverne was Near the Top of the List...

There's a Considerably LESS Painful Way to Go About It, If That's Indeed What Stiverne Did...

A Fighter Wouldn't WILLINGLY Endure That; They'd Go the Rigondeaux/Walters Route Instead...

REED's Not Sure He's Seen Wilder vs Scott, but He'll Check it Out Later...

Anyone who knows boxing and watched that fight can determine that Jermaine cashed in. The guy came in fat as fuck, did not put up a bit of a fight, and was not upset by the result at all. That’s all the makings of a fighter who did not come in to give his all.

Clearly, You've Posted Here Under a Different Username....

Posters that are CONFIDENT in their Boxing Acumen DON'T Resort to Aliases...Even If/When they CHANGE Usernames, they Make it OBVIOUS Who they Are/Were...

But in YOUR Case, You're HIDING from Something/Someone....

That's What Makes REED QUITE Confident he Knows MORE About Boxing than You...

    Any Other Questions???...

The only thing “clear” about it is that it makes absolutely no sense. Your argument is based on assumptions.

Wilder landed a clean left hook on freaking 140 pound Charlie Zelenoff and barely scored a flash knockdown.

For the Record, REED Likes Joshua MUCH More than he Does Wilder...

Several Factors Led to REED Becoming a Fan, NONE of Which Have to Do w/Race or Region...

    1. Wilder was on the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team w/the Homey, Luis Yanez...

    2. Wilder's Willing to Fight ANYBODY - Despite the Bitching from Fans, Wilder WANTED to Face Povetkin (in Russia, No Less) and Ortiz...THEY Fucked it Up, Not Wilder...

And Here he Is Signed to Face Ortiz Yet AGAIN...

    3. He's Knocked EVERYBODY the Fuck Out...

    4. The Way he EMBRACES Violence is Refreshing...

Didn’t he post in the past how he was upset that his girlfriend slept with his best friend who was black or something?

If Ortiz has anything left, I think he has the sharp counter punching to exploit Wilder's gaps in defense.

Will come down to power. Who can take who's punch better. I think we'll see Wilder get hit plenty. How he holds up will be key.

It's either Ortiz early or Wilder late.

The head says Wilder based on his youth and height. But my gut feeling is telling me that Ortiz will exploit him and shatter his jaw.

Wilder is going to stay outside and hold Ortiz if he gets close. So this will be tough for Ortiz. He will need to be aggressive and opportunistic or else he will lose

To be honest, Wilder is great for boxing, casual fan or not. Boxing is always at its most exciting when you have a heavyweight champion with a high KO percentage and is a guy that is always looking for the knockout. We’re lucky to have two such fighters.

Fuck all these elitists that are criticizing Wilder and Joshua for showing a few chinks in their armour. Enjoy the division while you have these exciting powerful fellas ruling. You never know how long it’ll take before we get this again.

Wilder talking about "destroying" a young Mike Tyson again. He must be talking about a 9 year old Tyson.

Rooting harder than ever for Ortiz to KO this loud mouth in humiliating fashion.
