    Exactly, if it wasn't staged, Wlad would have made a complaint vs Briggs long ago and he wouldn't be able to go near Wlad without going to jail. You don't want a heavy hitter, seemingly psychotic dude harassing you and getting physical with you no matter who you are.

    What I don't understand is, that this is coreographed so badly. They could make it a little more convincing. These dudes are boxers, they would survive if a weak punch landed or something. THe Bloom-Bieber fight looked more dangerous.

    wlad loves being boring. Watch the Klitchko documentary. a very good movie btw. Wlad talking about how he views boxing as chess, not really a sport. He can take his time and out think his opponents. And not go in there to get hit or get hurt.

    I think it's easy for him to justify his boring style and must do so to answer his critics.

    But obviously, his wish was to be an attraction in the u.s. which he nearly managed until he was ko'd by sanders and brewster, took up with steward, and figured out in order to keep winning he has to pile on the stink.

    His fights have smelled like shit ever since.

    he doesnt give a shit about being an attraction here. The man sells out soccer arenas and makes millions of dollars per fight. i think he made 15 mil in the povetkin fight and that didnt include ticket sales

    I think he originally hoped to be a stateside attraction. But he obviously stopped giving a shit a long time ago, to your point.

    But the larger point is that his style is a necessary evil to protect his fragile chin and prevent another Sanders/Brewster disaster.

    It's actually a giant conspiracy when you think about it that referees allow him, fight after fight, to essentially cheat his way to victory.

    It's also one of the great mysteries that European fans actually enjoy (presumably) watching him fight.

    I think his current style would have turned all his losses into victories, apart from Sanders.

    Brigg's best attribute is being huge. Never did much for him in the ring against top competition so I don't see how it helps him against Wlad. Wasn't this guy washed up on his best day? Would this be anymore intriguing a fight 10 years ago? I can already tell you the outcome. Briggs will talk all this shit get in the ring and see Wlad is nearly if not bigger than he is and become petrified to let his hands go and stink out the joint. AS FUCKING USUAL.
