Seems a bit like a pointless rematch

Agreed. The first fight was pretty good but it wasn't like there were unanswered questions. I don't follow the lower weight classes very closely but surely there has to be a more deserving opponent?

You have Casimero and Rigondeaux at the weight. Neither fight massively interest me, since I think Inoue annihilates either of them at this point. The Donaire rematch should look to be a decent fight, but is pretty pointless.

I'd welcome fights with the crop at 122 and 115 far more.

Not interested. It’s a pointless rematch that’s not going to elevate Inoue should he make shorter work on Donaire. I’d rather have Inoue fight the winner of Casimero-Rigo, Donaire had his chance.

Imagine if Donaire wins. That would be insane. Won't happen though

what is the problem with this fight? donaire gave the kid the hardest fight of his career. i think donaire was bailed out by the ref and shoulda been stopped. but he did break inoue's face.

Yeah, maybe we're a bit too harsh. Still that fight was years ago, and donaire os not getting any younger

I expect Inoue to stop Donaire this time out but that doesn't mean the fight shouldn't be made. Even a loss enhances Donaire's HOF legacy.

The Bout is Probable Because Nonito KO’ed Oubaali for the WBC Bantamweight Title and Inoue Wants to Be UNDISPUTED.

REED Isn’t Terribly ENTHUSED By a RE Either, But That’s WHY It’s Being Talked About…

Not necessarily. If he gets blasted easily it does nothing for his legacy.

Yeah, I have no problem with this fight. The first one was very good so I'm happy to see it again, even if I can't see Donaire winning.

Donaire's power wasn't enough last time, I see no reason why it'd be enough this time. He'd essentially just be loading up on a shot which isn't good enough anyway. Inoue will KO him in an extremely busy encounter.

Yeah, thats pretty much is only shot, and boxing have shown me time and time again that relying on one good punch to win a fight is a strategy that almost akways fails

I think getting a legit unification fight at this point of his career is pretty special. He's not being gifted a shot because he's a faded name.

Donaire has a decent chance. Not a good chance, I expect Inoue to stop him, but we don't know if Inoue can handle that type of punishment again.

    True...

Inoue's Nose AND Orbital Bone was Broken in That Fight...He Certainly Didn't Walk Away Unscathed...& It's NOT Like His Defense has Improved Since Then Either...

You HAVE to Pick Inoue, But REED Would Be Lying if he Said He WASN'T Spooked by this RE a Bit...
