Simple question. I think he might be.

No. We need to look at the quality of the guy he beat, too.

A standard-issue midwit who would have been beaten like a rented mule by the guys 20 years ago.

Billy Backus got a TKO over Napoles. I'd start there. That's obscene.

It's not like Kambosos lost to Haney in a round, list to Loma in a round, etc.

Breidis Prescott did precisely nothing after he blasted Khan.

Officially? Still no, see above post.

Un-officially, peak Ray Mercer got completely out-boxed by Marion "the Creep" Wilson, the man with a sub .500 record yet didn't officially lose. That is like a million times worse than a Teo suffering from extreme rona getting upset by an undefeated Kambozo

Kambozo isn't even the worst active fighter to bank three multi-million dollar purses. That distinction belongs to a guy booked to fight a 57-year old Mike Tyson in front of 50k in AT&T Stadium

Bozo is not a very good fighter, but you're way too harsh on him. He lost against two arguably top 10 p4pounders. If/when he starts to lose against bums, maybe the question will be worth asking

I think we can say he's one of the worse fighters to score a major upset....AND stay near the top/fighting elite opponents for YEARS. Haney twice...Loma...I bet if he stay active, i bet he will get to be a stepping stone for some young up and comer...PULL up another minor upset and GET another TITLE shot...

Nah he's definitely up there. Among the worst fighters ever to score a big upset. If not 1, then without question top 5.

Upon further reflexion, you might be right. Guess it depends on what you call a major upset. Does Jacquot against Curry count?

Nah Kambosos is a genuine Top 10 type of guy - fast hands, well conditioned and fairly resilient. But that's sorta where it ends as far as his talent/skillset.

He never should have beaten Lopez, but that counter overhand right by Kambosos was a beautiful shot (perfectly timed, no fluke at all) and completely altered the normal order of things, as they sometimes do. And then Kambosos fought through fire and blood to capitalise and get the victory, despite being a leap amateur with limited ability. That's what makes boxing fun sometimes. It was a really good fight to watch and amusing to watch a bamboozled bloody Lopez try to deal with the aftermath.

Kambosos deserved that win in the end and parlayed it into millions for his family, but on any other day Teo outboxes and knocks him out and Kambosos never fights Haney, never fights Loma, and goes back to fighting in clubs.

Id like to see more of bozo against good but not elite guys before completely dismissing him. Hes obviously not a p4per, but i think he can be a decent mid level champ

How many rounds has bumbozo won since the Lopez fight?

Less than the collective number of poles in the brothers dims amphibious gullets in april.

He’s not nearly as bad as portrayed.
    Good handspeed, stamina and chin.
    Just very little power

I mean, Duran lost to Kirkland Laing FFS, so I'll say the answer to this thread is 'no'.

It probably does speak to limitations in Teo. Teo was hyped to be Roy quality. He's closer to young Thurman quality, and that's being generous because Keith was a better fighter than Teo.

Is he worse than Luis Santana? Or that doesn’t count because he was won on his acting skills?

I really haven’t seen much of either fighter to compare.

Thurman never beat the top guy in any one division. Let alone 2 divisions

I think it's very safe to say that P4P or otherwise, prime Thurman would beat the ever living fuck outta Josh Taylor.

Lopez big claim is edging a points win over a guy who was smaller and coming off an injury.

Lopez is just not that good.

Teo wouldn't beat Danny Garcia. Not at 140 or 147. To me, it's an easy call that Keith was better.

Ryan might want a piece of him. And Lopez is just the sort of goon who will happily take him on and expect his salivating fuckboy hypemen to tell everyone this is pfp stuff.

I'd pay top dollar to see the 147lb version of Canelo that beat Pedobear fight Lopez, at 147.

    Slaughter.

Beating Teofimo is a huge upset? It seems like everyone here thinks very highly of Teofimo. I doubt Teofimo would make the top 100 list of greatest fighters ever. Who's dick did he suck to get so much love around here? lol.
