Hard to say how good cooney was, but you have to guess that the beat cooney beats quarry.

Cooney was the BIGGER, STRONGER Guy and his Left Hook Would Be the Most DANGEROUS Weapon In this Fight...

That Being Said, Quarry Possessed More in an ALL AROUND Sense, in REED's Opinion...He'd Be TOUGH Enough to Survive Cooney's INITIAL Surge, Start TURNING the Tide by Mid Rounds and Make the Fight CLOSE Enough Late Where it's Conceivable to EEK Out a Decision...

Quarry's a live dog if he can survive the early punishment (at the very least if his face can) ... He was a natural counterpuncher and his best counter was a left hook of his own... Combine that with his obvious toughness and Cooney's less than deep gas tank... It's not crazy to think he could win it

Agreed with the last two posts. Quarry has to not only get out of the early rounds, but do it without bleeding to death. It's not impossible but odds are in Cooney's favor.
