Word is he might get the fight with AJ anyway. But what's the point?

He's not gonna be able to get into the same shape and form he was prior to becoming heavyweight champion.

What would a win over Fury mean now for AJ?

Prime Fury is so superior to AJ that I think that his chances can't be completely dismissed, but I would make him a pretty big underdog now.

Prime Fury was the guy who fought Wlad.

Prime Fury 'fought' Wald? What I saw was a guy spooked like shit by a guy pretending to throw punches and pulling menacing faces.

Unlike Wlad, Joshua would not be unwilling to throw his right hand. He would have numerous chances to land bombs.

yeah, and he would offer a million countering oppurtinities to Fury. ANd with his shitty chin and defense, it wouldn't take long for Fury to lay him out

You’re right! I forgot that Fury was a master counterpuncher. Joshua would surely fall victim to the check hook, the pull counter and the Marquez block-one-two special!

Fury leads more than counters, he likes to control the pace. Uses a lot of footwork, angles and head movement. He isn't a massive puncher so I can't see him taking AJ out with one punch or anything but there's the potential for AJ to start chasing him around and Fury getting to him late.

you dont need to be a master counter puncher to find AJ chin. WLad is not much of a counter puncher, and he was finding AJ rather easily the few times he mustered the courage to let his hands go

Since Joshua keeps gaining weight, how would a fat Joshua fare against a fat Fury

The USS Cunningham kd was an obvious fluke. Fury was simply walking him down with no respect for this power and it was pretty much the harder punch Cunningham ever threw.

Only the TRUEST of Tyson Fury Nuthuggers Would Label the Cunningham Knockdown a 'Fluke'...

As USUAL, Fury Had his Hands Down, and Cunningham DRILLED Him, Simple as That...

What's Funny Is, You're Going On and On, in This Thread and the Mythical Forum, QUESTIONING Joshua's Chin on the Strength of a TEMPLE Shot from Whyte and/or Getting Dropped by a LEGIT Puncher in Wlad, When Fury was Actually DROPPED HARD, by a Much INFERIOR Puncher than Whyte OR Wlad...

Make NO Mistake, if Joshua Caught Fury w/the Same Shot USS Did (& there's NOfuckingREASON to Think he Couldn't), the Ref Would STILL Be Standing Over Fury's Prone Body, Administering a Count...

That Video Alone DIARRHEA Shits on the Idea of Fury Beating Joshua, Dude...If Anything, You Should Be Questioning Fury's Chin, NOT Joshua's...

An "Obvious Fluke"???...Yeah, if You're a Fury Fanboy...

A fluke doent means it wasnt a legit kd, only that its an obvious anomaly in his career since he fought much better and harder punchers and wasnt floored nor hurt. A bit like the cooper kd, wasnt a reflection of ali chin. Aj, on the opposite, seems to get hurt by every decent fighter/punche he face.

If you think aj is beating prime fury, well youre oviously wrong. He was way too fluid for a robot like AJ. But then, you picked wlad to ko him and created the myth that he lost cause he wasnt motivated for that fight.

Cooper Actually COULD Punch a Little Bit Though...27 of his 40 Wins were by KO...

Cunningham has 13 KO's in his 29 Wins, the VAST MAJORITY of Which were @ Crusierweight...Per Boxrec, a Grand Total of 1 USS KO Came @ Heavyweight, Yet He BADLY Hurt Your Boy Fury, Nonetheless...

There's Literally NO Justification for Fury Getting DROPPED HARD by USS, Especially When You Have the Fucking AUDACITY to Question Joshua's Punch Resistance in the Next Breath...Aside from Whyte and Wlad who Are these "Every Decent Fighter" that Hurt Joshua Every Time he's Punched in the Face???...

REED's Pretty Sure he's Seen EVERY Pro Fight of Joshua's and Only Recalls Whyte and Wlad Hurting Him Thus Faaaaaar...

"Obviously Wrong"???...To BEAT Joshua, Fury Would Have to Put Some HURT on Him...You're Making Fury Sound Like Cassius Clay in Terms of Footwork...Based on THE WAY Wlad Fought Fury and Joshua it's Pretty "OBVIOUS" Which Opponent he was MORE Motivated for...Even Gerald McClellan, in his Current State, Could See That...

So You're the ONLY Guy to Never Pick a Boxing Match Incorrectly, Huh???...Congratulations...

Fury was also dropped by Neven Pajkic, he also CLEARLY lost the first fight to John McDermott. The thing is, I like Fury and I recognise he was nowhere near the finished article at that point. The difference is, Fury was able to learn his craft and improve on small hall shows, yeah they were televised but Joshua fights have basically been events from the start, under an INTENSE media glare. After 20 fights AJ is far ahead of where Fury was at the same stage. Not saying AJ wins or anything as Fury is far craftier than he ever gets credit for but I think if you are going to criticise Joshua's chin and ability after 20 fights then there was much more to criticise Fury for after his first 20.

I doubt we will even get to see them fight. Fury is a long way awag from getting back to full fitness but he doesn't even seem to be getting back in to shape, considering he's been saying he's going to for a year or more. I'm not seeing him back up his claims in that sense. He still looks dreadful and sounds more like Frank Butcher every day.

Wow, 27 ko (mostly against euro bums) in 40 fights. Cooper was a decent/good puncher, but not more than this, and he hurted Ali (who was way more gone tha Fury was) much more than anybody else. Hence why it's an obvious fluke, just like the Cunningham KD is also an obvious fluke.

As for AJ, well, Whyte and WLad are pretty much the only two decent punchers he faced. YOu could put Molina also, but I don't think he landed anything on AJ.

And lol at Wlad being more motivated for AJ. Talk about a case of selective perception. The only reason Wlad put on a better performance is because AJ is a far inferior fighter to Fury
