True, I'd describe our Jeff as very easy on the eye, when his slick boxing on the fringes gets all bollockst and tripsy he starts tigger-springing like a puppy and wings the fuck out of it ...like a good boy, a very good boy.

Definitely gunna whup Errol now that I've seen him for the first time,.. ...I was expecting Roy Jones or something more off the Floyd rebound.

 

And he´s anything BUT that.
Spence is more a Milton McCrory or Marlon Starling: good but not that good.

These idiots are making up shit. At NOOOOOOOOO point did any Spence fan say he was the next Jones. We're talking about a man who in his prime was possibly the best to ever do it. Spence isn't on that level, will never be on that level, and shouldn't be EXPECTED to live up to that level.

He's an EXCELLENT fighter. That much was established on Saturday. At what level he'll peak at, we'll find out in the coming years.

But he's not gonna be considered a failure just because he isn't Roy Jones.

 

No one ever called him Leonard either.

Ok, I'm lying.... PBC has several times compared him to the Leonard. So if that's what you're going off of...

But Spence fans who actually know boxing have never compared him to Leonard.

If there's any past fighter who had similar style to Spence, I'd say Orzubek Nazarov... aka one of the most, if not THE most, underrated fighter of the 90s. An excellent 90s lightweight who was never known of my mainstream fans. Very similar to Spence stylewise. A come-forward southpaw with a great jab, power, and who gradually broke guys to the body.

 

For the record, I don´t rate Spence ( see comparisons, above)
I do rate Crawford.

 

As far as single wins go, Brook's A LOT better than any one Crawford win.

Crawford's best win in reality is Postol. I know the popular answer would be Gamboa, but Gamboa never did jack shit at 135 and was proven to be useless above 126.

Brook's a much better fighter than Postol.

Brook's success against Golov is overrated.

Jacobs gave him by far his toughest fight, but all Brook did was land a few solid shots.

But Golov applies constant pressure. Canelo does not. Brook would give Canelo problems.
