I would love to see Canelo vs. GGG...but that's NOT going to happen yet....why???? So Canelo after teh biggest victory of his career goes on to GGG? If he lose? all that momentum is GONE, if he wins??....then WHAT???? There is NO markatable fighters at 160...ALL the names are at 154...

Canelo vs. Lemieux make sense...Canelo will be fighting someone his own size, a real banger, but limited fighter...perfect tune up for GGG...

Exactly! I don't have a problem with this fight in May, then Golov-Canelo in Sept. I think that makes the most sense.

Canelo-Lemieux will be an explosive fight, although Canelo will take Lemieux apart in the end, it'll be action fight while it lasts and a good test for Ging.

I think he stops LeMoo in about 10-11.

It'll be REALLY FUCKING AWESOME for the sport if next fall we have Golov-Canelo and Ward-Kov. I think that's HBO's plan and hopefully it comes to pass.

It would be even more awesome if it was on the same PPV card....Ward vs. Kov ain't going to do SHIT on PPV....it may sell in Ward hometown....

Well, I can guarantee that it will have one buyer who didn't pay for Canelo vs Cotto.

I'm totally down for that idea. Ward and Canelo both KO'd on the same night. Shittt, schedule the card for Dec. 25th cause that sounds like Christmas to me.

Nah, Canelo is Golden Boy's PRIZED Possession...If Anything, they Threw Lemieux Out There to GAUGE How Canelo Might Do vs. GGG...

& w/Triple G DOMINATING Lemieux, REED Doubts Golden Boy is Any More INTERESTED in the Fight than Before...Like he Did w/Erislandy Lara, Canelo's Going to Have to DEMAND this Fight from his Promoter, to Make it Happen....

If REED were Calling Shots in GBP, he'd Give Canelo a GIMME in February/March, Feature Lemieux on the Undercard in a Gimme, Stage Canelo vs. Lemieux on the "Cinco de Mayo" Weekend, then (ASSuming Canelo's IMPRESSIVE in Both Bouts) Fight GGG in September (@ a Catchweight)...

Clearly, GGG's a DANGEROUS Fight, a Fight Canelo Would Be FAVORED to Lose (By KNOWLEDGEABLE Boxing Fans, Anyways), so it's Almost a "No Lose" Situation for Him...But the Thing is, GGG AIN'T Walking Thru Canelo, & a COMPETITIVE Loss Wouldn't Hurt Canelo's Status @ All...It's NOT like he's Undefeated, As Is...Maybe Catch Golovkin a Year Later (Fall 2017), for Some Payback, to "Right" the "Wrong"...

On the Flipside, if Canelo were to BEAT GGG, he'd Be Regarded as Boxing's Biggest Attraction AND its' BEST Fighter, Lb for Lb...For the Amount of Dinero HBO will Shell Out for the Fight (Not to Mention the Amount of Money that will Be Offered in the GUARANTEED Bidding War btwn Dallas Cowboys Owner, Jerry Jones, and Vegas Casinos, for the Right to HOST the Fight), it's Going to Be HARD for Canelo to Say "No"...

Short of a RE w/Floyd, there's Nobody Else on the Immediate Horizon, that Would Garner the Payday a Date w/GGG Would...

A fight in February/March is a good idea....coming off the biggest victory of his career puggy Canelo is bound to get fatter and chubbier than ever before during all the holidays between now and January...so having him looking forward to a fight in February/March will keep him from eating himself into GGG-WARD-Kova DIVISION....

Funny how Canelo keeps claiming he felt good at that weight, he's the champion and that this is his weightclass. I'd like to know exactly what is he talking about, mw or 155lbs catchweight, seems to me it's more likely to be the later.

So does Canelo give up the belt or pay GGG to step aside for a while? #AllTheBelts.

By the way Xplosive, you said somewhere recently that Canelo has alligator arms. Officially...his reach is longer than GGG.

And here it IS...after all that TOUGH talk right after COTTO fight...I'm ready I'll fight him RIGHT NOW!!!...lol....

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...nady-golovkin-at-155-pounds-says-eddy-reynoso

Canelo Alvarez Ready to Fight Gennady Golovkin at 155 Pounds, Says Eddy Reynoso

    <address class="article_author-info" itemscope="" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" style="margin: 0px 0px 5px; padding: 0px; border: 0px; outline: 0px; font-size: 16px; vertical-align: baseline; display: inline; background: 0px 0px;">By Gianni Verschueren, Featured Columnist </address><time class="article_timestamp" itemprop="datePublished" data-updated_at="1448477251" style="display: inline; margin-left: 5px; color: rgb(158, 158, 158);">Nov 25, 2015</time>

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez's trainer, Eddy Reynoso, remains adamant the WBC middleweight champion will only fight Gennady Golovkin at a catchweight of 155 pounds, a major stumbling block as the two camps try to come to an agreement regarding the highly anticipated unification bout.
Per Radio Rahim of BoxingScene.com, Golovkin has already ruled out fighting Alvarez at a catchweight, but Reynoso made it very clear the 25-year-old has no intention of fighting at 160 pounds.
As reported by BoxingScene.com's Ryan Burton, he said: "We are ready to fight anyone at 155 pounds. We are very comfortable at this weight. If he wants to come to this weight we will fight anybody

Saying they want the fight at 155 to me translates 'they don't want the fight.'

The 155 demand is some epic fag shit. Entitled little red head bitch thinking he's bigger than the sport and can create his own division. Yea, yea, yea, he's the "A-side", Golov can't do the same PPV numbers, blah, blah. That's true, but it's still fag shit.

He should have the desire to beat a 100% Golov. Instead he has the desire to beat a drained Golov. Fight him at 160 you freckled puta.

I won't bitch much about it...cause HAD Cotto won....I wouldn't have a problem with him draining GGG make thing more even..However the difference is that Canelo comes into a fight at 170-175, while Cotto probably came in at 163-165.....

For the GGG fans don't worry...after this big victory and the holidays I doubt Ginger will be able to stay at Jr. Middleweight...or even 155....in a few months the agree upon weight will be 157-158 and GGG will agree to it.

I like how during one of the previews for Cotto v. Canelo someone said that Middleweight is anythyinhg from 154-160...COOL that awesome...Canelo can come in at 155 if he wants...but he can't FORCE GGG to come down to 155....160-159 whatever GGG comes in it's still Middleweight...

I also read somewhere that GGG can refuse Canelo's 155lb request....and that will count against Canelo as not wanting to defend the title and he will be strip....is this true..?

boxing is starting to become really sad with all of this catchweight bullshit. Sanctioning bodies, for all of their flaws, never made me like boxing less, as it was pretty easy to ignore their fuckups (super champion vs regular champion for example, just consider the super champ the real champ and the regular the mandatory contender). But now, it seems every name wants to whore the sport so that the deck is even more stacked in their favor. Catchweight, apart from rare occasions, is really hard to accept considering we already have an overabundance of weight classes (think at all the talent we would have in each division if we would go back to the original 8 weight classes).

FUCK Canelo! They should call his bluff.

At the end of the end, fans of this Ginger faggot can pretend that he doesn't need Golov at all... but it isn't true.

Canelo won't do BIG PPV numbers again unless it's a Golov fight.

Canelo-Golov in Sept. can EASILY be a 1 mil+ PPV buy. Who the Hell else is Canelo gonna fight to generate those numbers?

So essentially, they need eachother. Golov shouldn't bend over and get fucked in the ass by Canelo and the Reynoso creeps. SOMEBODY needs to stand up to their corrupt bullshit.
