Gondo absolutely dominated Donaire, Donaire barely landed anything and just looked clueless. It was way too 1 sided to be something that looked different on TV.

Yup, I don't buy that excuse either.

Even a novice boxing spectator could tell Rigo was dominating that fight. I'm sure everyone in the crowd knew Rigo was dominating also.

i have a friend who actually knows the ins and outs of boxing and usually predicts fights correctly, he was at the MSG theater and said it looked like donaire was winning due to rigondeaux moving so much. could be its just not a great venue and he didnt have a good viewpoint, i dont know.

Lampley and Kellerman called the fight as Rigo's dominance. Late in the fight Lampley mentioned that they were getting plenty of messages from spectators who said that they were talking crap and the fight was actually much closer. I doubt Arum sent them all

Weird shit indeed. From my eyes, this was one time Lamps and Kellerman weren't being completely biased. Rigo did a paint job on Donaire. And remember, going in.... Donaire was one of HBO's golden boys.

Lomachenko does everything better than Rigo. Plus he is bigger and younger. Rigo won't last the distance.

I think Loma's youth and activity will prove crucial. Plus the weight will be to his advantage. I think he wins a competitive but clear UD.

Admittedly I haven't seen many Rigo fights but from what I've seen he doesn't appear chinny. I don't see how you can be so certain that he gets stopped? Lomachenko isn't some Hearns like puncher and Rigo isn't exactly there to be hit either

He will be getting hit more in this fight. Lomachenko will be the hardest puncher Rigo will haven't fought.

This will be a brilliant display of technical skills. Best fight to be made in boxing today as far as I am concerned.

The more I think about this the more I think that; if Rigo legitimately wins this it will be one of the best wins in boxing ever. Moving up 2 weight classes to beat a 2 time Olympic gold medalist in his prime.

That being said I don't think he has the talent to pull it off. Lomachenko is just too good all around the board and has more skill than Rigo.

Great matchup... if Rigondeaux had been in his prime, active and not coming up 2 weight classes. As of now, I think he loses clearly in a meaningless fight.

I see both guys as great fighters. Rigs I'd compare to a Roy Jones. He has a complete offensive arsenal and is great at waiting for and exploiting openings in his opponents defense and a very good counter puncher while being average to below average defensively. He has very good power and chin but I'm not sure how good it will be after he moves up.

Loma I see as being closer to Mayweather in he has great offense, defense, ring generalship and foot work. I see him as the more complete fighter. I'm not sure about his power or his chin so any weakness in one or both of those areas could lead to him losing. Barring that I see him winning a comfortable decision victory.

What weird comparisons. For one, Rigo fights NOTHING like Roy. They couldn't be more different. Loma has more Roy in his style, as Roy in his idol.

Secondly, Rigo has an "average to below average" defense????

Have you been drinking this morning?

Rigo sounds like an offensively gifted Micky Ward in lb for lb's post
