Las Vegas, NV (April 1, 2008). . . Boxer and entertainer Floyd Mayweather is giving back to the sport that launched him to superstardom. Mayweather recently announced that he will pay the projected operating budget for the National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions taking place in his hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan from May 5 through May 10. The tournament is being hosted by Michigan Golden Gloves, the non-profit organization through which Mayweather took his first steps to launching what is now recognized as one of the most highly decorated careers in the sport of boxing. Mayweather, who plans to attend the tournament's opening ceremonies on May 4, is ecstatic about helping out.

Well I, for one, am disgusted. This no-good, cocky piece of sh*t should do that for EVERY state Golden GLoves, not just his home state.

Nice gesture by Floyd. I now hope he's hit by a truck rather than blow torched by death.

Who cares why he did it. The fact is he did it. This man has more money than he knows what to do with. Maybe he is now giving some of it away to people who could use it.

Take it for what it's worth

this is from a wrestling news site

Floyd Mayweather was spotted taking pictures and interacting with fans outside WWE’s hotel in Orlando yesterday afternoon and into the evening. He came out around 4:00 PM and told fans that he had just woken up which isn’t a surprise since he’s known as a night owl. He smiled for all the pictures and was said to be very respectful and approachable when dealing with fans. While Floyd was posing for pictures one of his bodyguards sold a Floyd Mayweather Jr. hoodie for $250 to a guy from Australia.

I bet Fraud gives alot of his money away to charity as an anonymous doner in private, just to feel good within himself that his contribution is helping to enrich the lives of others in need, ......................perhaps he could start by feeding his own children[IMG]?.

I can just picture Floyd doing the same thing too. I bet he is a regular anonymous donor, donating hundreds of thousands to good causes without us even knowing about it.

Margarito's purse and his status as a superstar, are about as relevant to me, as Fraud throwing his children's trust off the stage of a rap concert.

Precisely, I don't want Margarito to box anymore, I want never ending riches and admiration for him in something more mainstream, like an actor:eeeek: , if he wins a prestigious oscar award, then it will prove to all you haters that he's.....the best and most popular boxa eva? :dunno:

:nono: I like Andrade, but Margarito has the ability to thread and weave his way through an opponents guard and nibble on the inners, whereas Librado just gnashes the shell.

Obviously I am just nausing you, but I believe what I wrote.

There are similarities in style, but I think Andrade is better. Stronger, tougher, quicker, and actually a little craftier and better at putting combos together.

I am surprised he is not a belt holder actually.
