O'Dowd (in the longer trunks) defends his MW title against comebacking former champ Gibbons. O'Dowd is one of the most underrated MW champs ever IMO (a year earlier, he had fought a near-prime Harry Greb to a standstill in a no-decision bout). Gibbons was slightly past his prime at this time, but still a very dangerous opponent. O'Dowd shows good defensive technique and punch variety as he stalks Gibbons throughout the fight.
