not really. Thomas, Laimbeer, Edwards and Johnson were all on the decline by then. mahorn was gone. Still a formidable team but not the very best they were at

good move for the clippers dumping hawes and thug angel barnes for loud mouth lance stephenson. he is better defensively than barnes at this point and can also create his own offense at times

Exactly. If a player wins in finals but loses the conference finals next year, he is winner, yet if if wins in finals and WINS in conference finals next year, he becomes a loser. :scratcher:

Losing to the Mavs is almost unforgivable, imo. And he fucking disappeared in those games. With the macs defense James should have been putting up huge numbers against them. This finals he is amazing, I wonder what was wrong with him against Dallas.

Has there ever been a finals MVP from the losing squad? And has there ever been a constellation that might warrant that to be the case like with Lebron?

Still if Curry gets it it won't be undeserved imo...

Only Jerry West, and it was the first time it was awarded. I'm pretty sure Lebron will get it unless Curry has a monster game tonight and Lebron completely disappears.

Bron/Wade/Bosh were Caught Up DEFERRING To Each Other, in that Series...Bron was Also Put Off w/Being Thrust into the "Bad Guy" Role, Upon Leaving Cleveland...Bron's a SENSITIVE Ass Dude & he Admits it Took him that Entire Season to COPE w/It...

To this Day, he Says he's SHOCKED the Heat Even MADE it to the Finals, that 1st Season...But After the Mavs Beat them, DWade GAVE Bron the Keys to the Team & the Rest is History...

LeBron James is Considerably TOUGHER Now, Mentally, than he was in that Mavs Series...

That's unusual for him, but it's not unwarranted. His team-mates haven't given him any reason to let THEM take the shots. Plus he's still getting 10+ assists a game. He should be getting 15+ assists per game, but nobody else seems to be able to hit the broad side of Shaq's sneakers. I don't think he wants to be taking as many shots as he is.

Because Him Taking BAD Shots is Still a BETTER Shot than Any of his Teammates Can Get or Create for Themselves...

In Other Words, it's Out of NECESSITY...Rest Assured, if Kyrie &/or Love were Healthy, Bron's % Would Be EFFICIENT like Normal...

It's gotta be frustrating rooting for this Cleveland team. They're all a bunch of scrubs. Lebron is all by himself. GS just has too much depth and team play for them. Lebron has to score in the mid-high 30s for them to even have a chance. Terrible. Of course with Kyrie and Love out, it doesn't help.

Some horrible clock management by the Cavs. They gave up too early.

he clearly deserved it. he was the warriors best player in the finals. his defense on james and offensively was also the most consistent.

In the final minutes, why did the Cav's keep fouling Curry just because he was the one with the basketball? They could have done hack-a-Iggy or hack-a-Green away from the ball. I didn't get that and thought it was a huge mistake.

You can't foul off the ball in the final two minutes. If you do the team that was fouled off the ball gets to shoot free throws and maintain possession.

This. Iggy was a key player. That does not earns him the FMVP.

Doesn't hurt it...he certainly gained a higher level of respect in terms of what he did during the series. He gave all he had and then some. It doesn't enhance it in terms of being a winner. He still has a losing record in finals. Has won 2 of 6. I'm sure he'd be the first to tell you there's no solace in making the finals. He's there to win.

BTW, that reminds me. I read an article that I tend to agree with. The article mentioned that Serena Williams is America's greatest athlete who I agree with 100%.

In 24 major final events she's won 20.

True, they were still making some boneheaded decisions down the stretch when they were still in it though. They fouled Curry a couple of times when they shouldn't have had to, because defenders on other players had already given up when they had a chance to send somebody else to the line.

Lebron had to come over and tackle Draymond Green with the ball, because Tristan Thompson refused to foul him for some reason and let about 5 seconds run off the clock.

JR Smith started hitting some crazy 3's and they were right back in it, but it was too late.
