UPSET Alert... Jacksonville UP 14-0, On the Road, vs. Philadelphia...The LARGEST Lead the Jags had @ ANY Point of Last Season was 13 Points... REED's Always Wary of PRAISING Guys Based on a Small Sample Size of Good Performances...Case in Point, Nick Foles...Already, he's Fumbled TWICE in the Pocket, which Directly Contributed to Jacksonville TD's... REED:scared:
Considering Miami has turned the ball over 3 times in the first half, they're lucky to only be down by 10. Other than the turnovers, they haven't played bad. The offense looks completely different from last year, a lot of movement. If they can keep from turning the ball over, they can put up some points. And most importantly, Tannehill hasn't been sacked yet, which was Miami's biggest problem last season. TFK
Nick Foles 12-24 for 139yds Passing, 2 Fumbles and an INT, @ Halftime... Jacksonville UP 17-0... REED:mj:
RGIII has Passed Efficiently (18-20) Thus Faaaaaaaar, but has Taken A LOT of Hits & has Shown a LACK of Burst, Trying to Get to the Edges Against Houston's Defense... REED:mj:
Redskins Shooting THEMSELVES in the Fucking Foot... RGIII & Alfred Morris FUMBLED an Attempted Handoff, Then, on their Next Possession, a Receiver CATCHES a 43yd Pass, but is STRIPPED of the Ball, from Behind...Both Turnovers Occured Inside Houston's 10yd Line... 14-6, Houston... REED:mj:
Jadeveon Clowney Leaves the Game w/a "Knee Injury"... Dude's TALENT is UNfuckingDENIABLE, but his DRIVE Leaves A LOT to Be Desired... REED:mj:
Miami up 30-20 on the Pats with just a few minutes left. Moreno has been awesome today. Honestly, if it wasn't for Miami's self inflicted turnovers, this game would be a laugher. TFK
Sometimes, the LATTER Leads to the Former... There's ALWAYS Something w/Clowney...This Knee Injury, Prior to that, it was a Concussion...Prior to That, There was Something Else that Kept him Out for Most of OTA's...There were All Kinds of Ailments & Maladies in his Final Year of College... When Clowney WANTS or NEEDS to Be On, he Is...He was an Absolute MONSTER @ the NFL Combine & his Pro Day...But those Occassions Seem to Be the EXCEPTION, Not the Rule... Dude SHOULD Become a Hall of Fame Level Pass Rusher, but REED Questions if Clowney WANTS to Be Great...He'll Show Flashes This Season, Then will Likely Have Some Up & Down Seasons, UNTIL his Contract Year, of Course...That Year, Clowney Might Set a New Single Season Sack Record... But After he Gets that BIG Contract, he'll Probably REGRESS... REED:hammert:
Dubious no call on obvious illegal contact by Corey Graham against Santonio Holmes held the bears to a fg. To ot we go
Tannehill looked good, but not great. Efficient but his accuracy was off a hair on some plays. Moreno was excellent. The O line was excellent with great pass protection and opening running lanes all day. The defense harassed Brady all game long. This game was nowhere near as close as the score suggests. Great start to the season for Miami. TFK
