Obsession

Not sure if you’re heard about this, it’s a hugely successful horror movie on a small budget.

So far, it’s made 475 million on a $750k budget according to wiki.

Basically a monkey paw/be-careful-what-you-wish-for movie, where a guy makes a wish on a novelty toy for his crush to “love him more than anything else”, and you can guess what happens from then on.

Of course, the discussion on it can get really annoying. People talking about misogny, misandry, entitled ‘nice guys’, sexual assault, incels, etc….and lots of people with some truly bizarre illogical takes.

The movie itself though, I felt was solid enough. Good performances, especially from Inde Navarrette.
