    The build up will be more entertaining than the fight, that's for sure.

    But I absolutely REFUSE to give a penny for what will be a circus. Floyd will fight defensively and McGregor won't be able to do a thing about it. This will be a 12 round snooze fest.

    I would pick Floyd if he was 50 years old.

    From now on, McGregor will mentally toy with Mayweather who is one of the most insecure sportsmen of all time.

    That's the key to a McGregor win.

    This card will need unequivocally one of the greatest undercards in ppv history to get me to consider watching it. I don't think Floyd has ever had an undercard better than decent and most are below average.

    Who on the undercard would be an underdog to McGregor?

    If Mayweather dominates Greggles it would be a good advertisement for boxing and it would most definitely pull in new fans for the sport.

    +800 for McGregor (you obviously made a typo) is shocking imo, I would have expected McGregor to be a far bigger underdog. Still, call me overly cynical but I wouldn't be surprised at all if the fight was fixed, where Mayweather agrees to carry McGregor and make the fight look a bit competitive. This way, the (casual) fans go home happy, McGregor (and the UFC) stock goes up and Floyd piles up a shitload of $$$ risk free.

    This is a sideshow attraction that will sell to a lot of curious viewers. It's simply ridiculous in terms of competition. Only chance McGregor really has is if Floyd suffers some freak injury, breaking his elbow or knee somehow. This is the biggest PPV mismatch in history.

    Mayweather can play it safe and still score a knockout. He plays it safe against world class professional boxers, veterans who have been focusing solely on boxing. What is considered a risk against them is different than what is considered a risk against McGregor. !McGregor will leave way more openings and not be in the right position/angle to counter Mayweather.

    Seriously though....there are way too many factors for McGregor to overcome:
    * glove size/weight
    * wearing boxing shoes
    * ring size/dimensions
    * shorter distance to hitting target (bigger glove size & shorter stance)
    * different body positioning & stance (open to side-on)
    * different energy output (anaerobic to aerobic)
    * different punch output in both sports

    Etc, etc

    There's Definitely an ARRANGED Feel to This...To REED, the Pressers Will Tell ALL...

    Conor Goes Hard @ EVERYBODY, Pre-Fight...Does his Research, Finds Angles to Nitpick to the Point of Pissing Off his Opponents...Skirmishes, Near Skirmishes, Name Calling, Bottle Throwing, NATHAN is Off Limits for McGregor...

    The WAY He Talks TO and Talks ABOUT Floyd, Will Tell All...If he's More Respectful and Complimentary than the Norm, it'll Be Clear Conor's APPRECIATIVE Of the Cash-Out Opportunity and KNOWS He Has 0% Chance of Winning...

    McGregor's ONLY Chance is Verbally Attacking and Belittling Floyd (Referencing Floyd's REEDing Level, Beating Women, EVERYTHING) to Where Mayweather Comes UNGLUED and Looks to HURT McGregor on Fight Night...Fighting MORE Reckless than we're Accustomed to Seeing...

    Conor has Successfully Gotten MMAists to NEGLECT Fight Plans, via Press Conference Shit Talk...His BEHAVIOR, in Regards to Floyd, Will Tell ALL About How Legit this Contest is, in McGregor's Mind, and to What Degree There's an Arrangement...

    More than Anything, the NSAC Should Be ASHAMED of Themselves...

    Somewhere in Nevada, There's a Club Show Matchmaker Who's Had MORE Competitive Fights than Mayweather-McGregor DECLINED by the Commission...MORE Legitimate Fights than Mayweather-McGregor DECLINED by the Commission...There Just Wasn't Enough MONEY in the Promotion to Justify those Matchups, to the Commission...

    Matchmakers Have LOST Jobs Because of FAUX-High Horse, Soapbox Decisions Rendered by the NSAC, Who Couldn't Possibly Approve Certain Matchups in "Good Conscience"...Unless the MONEY is Right, Of Course...

    In EVERY Way, Mayweather-McGregor is a BAD Conscience, BAD Faith Endeavor...The NSAC has Blatantly UNDERMINED its Own Existence by Approving the Matchup, Based on Many of the Factors You've Noted, and More...

    'unless the money is right of course' is exactly correct.

    I mean I was ignorant of your points above purely because I was focused on highlighting the difference in both sports.

    However, this says it all:

    REED's Obviously Bringing his OWN Experiences as a Texas Matchmaker to This...

    REED's Literally Had Fights DECLINED by the Commission, That were Approved a Month or 2 Later, Under a Different, More "Established", (ie., Deeeeeeeeeeeeper Pockets) Promoter...Same 2 Opponents, No Less...

    But the Texas Commission has ALWAYS Been Seen as CORRUPT, So REED Didn't Sweat it Toooooo Bad...All the While, REED Looked @ the NSAC as a "Legit" Commission, for Lack of a Better Word...

    Until Now...

    A 12 Round Fight for an InExperienced Guy, Making his Professional Boxing Debut???...This Ain't Vasyl Lomachenko or Pete Rademacher Debuting w/Olympic Gold Medals in Boxing, Nor Were they Entering the Sport Against THE Best Fighter of That Era, Arguably 1 of THE Best Fighter Ever...

    SHAMEFUL that Mayweather-McGregor was Approved, but Even MORE Shameful that the Low Budget, Club Show Matchmaker Will CONTINUE to Have More Competitive Bouts than Mayweather-McGregor DECLINED by the NSAC...

    Level of Amateur Experience, Number of Pro Fights, Discrepancy in the Number of Pro Fights, Results of Those Fights, Level of Opposition in those Fights, Number of 8, 10 and 12 Round Fights (as Compared to Your Potential Opponent), and the Commission's GUT FEELING on How COMPETITIVE They Think the Fight Would Be...

    These are the Factors a Commission is SUPPOSED to Consider Before Approving a Bout...And They're Definitely the Factors Commissions CLING to When DECLINING Bouts...

    The MONEY Fight, Like You Said...Plain and Simple...

    "NATHAN" will get Floyd off his spot. If anything, he'll be more brutal as conor tires from missing so many punches.

    It's interesting the fight is at 154. if they fought at 147 they'd wear 8 oz gloves. 154 means 10 oz gloves. Wouldn't be surprised if there were stipulations as to which gloves he can wear (no Reyes) and something crazy like a $1 million fine if he kicks Floyd.

    Don't even think Floyd would be bothered about 8oz Cleto Reyes either.
    Didn't Pacquiao wear these for their fight?

    The jump up from 4oz to 8oz will sonewhat nullify McGregor's power & speed.
    10oz on McGregor would make Mayweather feel like he's in a sparring session.

    I've sparred against guys my own height & weight (200lb) without headguards & when they've used 10oz gloves...and as soon as they switch to 14-16oz, you can literally walk through punches...
