That Cuban might well be a Val Barker winner, hope he turns pro, Stevenson looked especially good in that 2nd rd but looked like he ran out of steam in the third
i wasnt overly impressed by the cuban. he was more aggressive than his countrymen tend to be, but less skilled. he did fight five times, though. where as stevenson only had 3 fights total
I liked the Uzbek but he got no credit from the judges during the first two rounds, and was picked off quite a bit in the third. The Cuban looked huge for the weight and looked like head real power.
Agreed that he is far more offensively minded than some of the other Cubans, but he looked great in the earlier rds and if he had problems connecting on Stevenson, I put that down to the latter doing so well, particularly during the 2nd rd. That's two gold medals in two Olympics for Ramirez at different weights and he's only 22.
