I have seen referees who step in between two fighters and push them apart..............but I have never seen a referee who thought he could touch one fighter all the time, pull his arm back, interrupt him when he was going about his business.

Cole was terrible ... Burns is holding his hands up by his temples... Figueroa is sticking his head in between Burns' elbows ... Burns throws a chopping right (he has no other option) and Cole acts like he was holding behind the head and pulls his arm back, allowing Figueroa some free seconds to punch ... Horrible... Virgil and Paulie kept saying it but Cole kept right on doing it

Burns is very Catlick and all that but he is a decent fighter. Gave Crawford half an argument and clearly won that. Jim Watt needs to bathe in hydrochloric acid. An absolute melt.

Anyway, here's a list I can think of junior welters who would thrash Fig and stop him:

Crawford, Garcia, Peterson, Matty, Provo, Amir Imam, Herrera, Broner, Postol.

    Am I forgetting any others?

I was pleasantly surprised with the Kobe fight because I did NOT think he deserved the decision. I think he got out boxed.

Two very impressive performances by British boxers last night. This guy McDonnell isn't bad.<iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lT3NpkKQeEo?feature=player_detailpage" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

It was a very solid fight between two guys who had MUUUCCCHHHHH higher skill levels than the two guys in the main event.

Overall, yesterday was a good boxing day. McDonnell-Kameda was a good fight. Fig-Burns was a good fight, despite the corrupt ref and judges. Then you had a short and explosive fight ending in a highlight reel KO.

    Much better than last week.

yeah overall a very decent weekend of action, bit disappointed with the undercard of Alvarez vs Kirk.

British TV said that the Diaz vs Delgado fight was NOT being broadcast live on US TV, instead they were showing a re-run of Mayweather vs Pacquaio

    Diaz looks OK.....nothing special.

McDonnell is one of those guys I don't really rate but he keeps winning, so he's obviously better than I thought. Hard to believe this guy who keeps getting wins at world level is the same bloke who lost to a journeyman in Chris Edwards and only managed to sneak by Ian Dappa Napa
