Navarov was one of more underrated fighters of the 90s. Stylewise, he was like Winky Wright with power. Valero, looked impressive against 2nd rate fighters but was never truly tested. I'd pick Navarov. I can't help but remember DeMarco tagging Valero with plenty of left hands, and Navarov was a sharp shooter.
:: 1. That's not his name...."Orzubek Nazarov" is his name :: 2. Go back to Boxingforum24. :: I think Valero is getting the Tony Ayala Jr treatment........he's getting better with time, except unlike Tony, we can't let him out of hell for a few months to be exposed.
My apologies for butchering his name, but yeah, he was a really good fighter. Stiff southpaw jab, threw crisp, acurrate combinations, and had good power. I think he was better than Stevie Johnston. As far as Valero compared to Ayala. Young Ayala was much more talented than Valero, imo. But Valero woulda had more success because Ayala was in a faaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrr deeper era.
