List some fights. Or you want me to explain? Fine well this is another great thread from me and i want you to list fights where fighter fought / did something out of character. Example: a life time brawler boxes, a warrior quits, an excuse maker doesn't make excusrs etc. Go!
Whitaker knocking out Hurtado late after getting outfought (and at times outboxed) for most of the night.
Nice thread. Nunn knocks Kalambay out in one round. Tyson comes out jabbing and moving in first round against Holyfield in rematch (proving that Evander scared the hell out of him) Erik Morales quits in third Pac fight.
Rocky Balboa Fighting like a Short, White Apollo Creed in the Rematch w/Clubber Lang... REED:dancingBaby:
Yes but its not like Nunn was regarded as a one-hitter-quitter who took people out in one round with one punch whilst not going for broke...... Which is kind of what the thread is about. For me.........Golota sucking it up and keeping it clean over the distance in a blood-spattered war with Corey Sanders.
Dick Tiger against Jose Torres... stick and move, punched mostly to the body with his power shots... totally different form his normal techniques Mike McCallum in the first Toney fight abandoned his normal consumate execution in favor of essentially his version of brawling... an enormous tactical error in my opinion, but it sure made for one tremendous fight A bit more subtle, but Wilfred Benitez was far more aggressive than was typical of him against Roberto Duran we take it for granted now because he wound up sticking with it largely, but Barrera's disciplined, patient jabbing against Hamed was extremely surprising at the time
What was OUT of Character about Floyd in this Fight, if that's Who U're Referring to???... REED:hammert:
