The only comparison is that they are big. Honestly, it's just lazy to even make the comparisons.

The movie has now made almost $400 million internationally. Not bad.

It still hasn't recouped its investment. It will though...barely.

Nope. Your article does not address distribution companies located in those countries. My article is clearly more detailed. Pacific Rim has already made back all of it's money and then some. Which is why a sequel is currently being discussed.

Most likely. I am a scifi movie collector. I have a lot of crappy old scifi movies in my collection. This one can be part of my collection.

So you think the movie has rewatch value or you wouldn't buy it. Your review wasn't too positive though.

I gave it a 6 out 10. Is not a bad movie; just not very good. Some of the special effects are cool though. Hey, I even have 'Plan 9 from Outer Space', 'Radar Men on the moon' and 'Star Trek V: The Final Frontier' along with 'The Return of the Swamp thing'!

Saw this. It was way better than Transformers and Godzilla. I agree it had a better story and better action scenes. A lot of stuff was very cliche' and cheesy at times but all and all it was a very entertaining view.

Wow this movie was fantastic , I grew up on the cheesy Jap Sci-Fi movies and shows like UltraMan and Johnny Sokko and his flying Robot to have that meet modern day CGI was amazing

what fight scenes and decent story line, very enjoyable

I stand corrected...I watch this yesterday...a bit too long...a bit too much feelings..."I will always be there".....but still very SOLID movie...Might rewatch one more time...but thats about it...

The creatures all look the same to me...one might have a hammer head...the other one might be a bit fatter like a hippo..

And the fight scenes were the best part....the robots look 'Merican...like Floyd.....Roy.....the robots from Transformers are stiff and eastern european....

Bad news. Pacific Rim 2 has been delayed indefinitely. What a shame. Pacific Rim is one of the best movies of this decade.
