I think it was a better performance than given credit for. I'm surprised at you and ILLU's summation of the fight, because I have the opposite opinion. For me, it showed he has a better chance against Floyd than most think.

Pacquiao's was sharp and fast and unpredictable, against a completely negative runner. Again, like me and cdogg said, it is very difficult and frustrating to fight a guy like that, and no one looks good doing it, even all time elite fighters.

He got caught with the odd right hand because he didn't have any respect for the smarmy yuppie, and knew he couldn't punch, so had no qualms about walking him down care free much of the time.

Even then, he didn't take many clean shots. It's a 12 round fight, of course he's going to take a few punches here and there. He got hit a lot less than Floyd did in his most recent couple of fights.
