Is pac allowed to wear reyes? By the way, I read roach was looking into the fact pbf has his gloves custom made by grant. Can you believe that? The guy constantly whimpering about even playing fields, telling his opponents which gloves they can and cannot wear? And the mother fucked uses custom made gloves?

If pbf had a tiny penis, it would explain a lot about his behavior and fucked up personality.

i just can't watch pac fight close competitive fights with bradley, and getting knocked out 3 times.. i can't watch those and think that he can whup Floyd

Floyd haters talk about him getting hurt by Shane or Chop Chop (despite him dominating the fight) LOL

yeh I agree with LOK...it's the same Pac that was schooled by Morales...this will be evident once he's in the ring with a Morales-level fighter once again

the only question mark is to do with floyds age really

Except that the one thing everyone oddly neglects to mention is that....Floyd avoided a fight with Pacquiao for YEARS!!! He retired at an opportune time for a year while talks were heating up for a Mayweather/Pacman showdown, then made all sorts of stipulations to avoid the fight with nonsense drug-testing demands, etc. And now everyone's acting like Floyd's got this. Sorry but Floyd's been sh*tting bricks at the thought of fighting Pacman for the past 5-6 years and he's not suddenly going to come in like Superman and put a beating on this guy that had him sh*tting bricks. Especially at Floyd's age now with those old man legs of his.

yeh he was shitting bricks, but he knows it's an easy fight now that Pac has been ktfo and is washed up

I hope Floyd gets asked about this in the post fight interview and start crying again

That Marquez KO was good for him, he'd become reckless, and even so he was beating the crap outta JMM prior.

Anyway, hopefully they're both juiced to the max on some exotic PEDs and it's a good fight.

Punk, I just rewatched their recent fights too, now on the most recent one, Pacquiao Vs Algieri.

Floyd looked a bit better than I remember in the Maidana rematch. No he didn't look great and Maidana still won some rounds, but he looked more mobile and less flat footed then in other recent fights.

I think people are overstating Floyd's legs being shot etc. Even in the 12th round, he was light on his feet and dancing around Maidana with relative ease.

And Pacquiao looked more flat footed than I remember in the Bradley rematch. Funnily enough, I thought Bradley did better in the rematch than in the first fight, I gave him 3 rounds in the rematch and 2 at best in the first fight, where he got completely outclassed and outlanded by a huge margin.

Point is, if Floyd really wants to fight a mobile fight, I think he still can, if he decides to box and move, he's definitely still capable.

However, Pacquiao is still faster of hand and foot, without a doubt. I think his mobility has declined by a similar amount to Floyd, but he can still cover ground extremely quickly, he just doesn't have the same energy to do it as much as he used to.

Similarly, Floyd still has fast hands, but less consistently fast. Sometimes that right hand still looks VERY quick, so again perhaps he doesn't have the energy anymore for all of them to have that level of speed and snap. Pacquiao's hands are more consistently fast.

In this fight I see one of only two things happening:

either Pacquio lands frequently or he hardly lands anything at all. Nothing in the middle.

Either Pacquiao's fast legs, left handedness and fast hands allow him to close the distance between himself and Floyd and land punches that Floyd is not expecting...in which case it'll happen all night long....or Pacquiao's lack of reach and height coupled with Floyd's ring generalship and unpredictable movement will cause Pacman to be hitting air all night.

Help me out someone...has Pacquiao ever faced a mover?

    Yeah that does sound plausible.

It could be a case of either Pacquiao's style troubling Floyd, and that handspeed, fleet footedness, and southpawness enabling him to land frequently. Or of course Floyd's style troubling Manny more than vice versa, with the right hand, excellent counters and reach shutting Manny down to some extent.

Disagree on Floyd's unpredictable movement btw. I think it's predictable enough, just very good. Knows where and when to move, always on balance etc, and is still mobile enough as I noted in the Maidana rematch.

The closest Manny has fought to a mover is the scrubby yuppie, and tbh he looked better than I expected against that horrible, negative style. It was only the scrubby yuppie, but still, it's the sort of style no one looks good against even if they win clearly, constantly having to chase movers is frustrating. Manny made it look easy, chasing him down and catching him with ease, round after round.

But I think it's safe to say both fighters are more mobile than anyone each of them fought before.

"Scrubby Yuppie" being Algeri I presume (Sorry not up to date with fightbeat's latest fighter nicknames). I guess that's a good example.

I think Floyd is planning to move in this fight, judging by what he said in the interview after the final press conference yesterday. He said something to the effect of "..actually Manny fights very well going backwards, he doesn't fight well coming forwards". I disagree, but maybe Floyd and his camp have seen something that I'm not aware of. That tells me that Floyd is going to force Manny to lead and hope to capitalize on his mistakes and make him pay with counters.

That's right, Algieri. Now obviously, he is a scrubby yuppie as per the name, but if nothing else he does move almost constantly, has a decent classic boxing style, and is the sort of negative runner no one looks good against.

In fact, historically attacking fighters or pressure fighters struggle with runners/movers, so I was pretty surprised by the absolute ease in which Pacquiao handled him. He used his excellent footwork and the full extension he gets on his shots to catch him effortlessly. I knew he'd win clearly, but I thought Algieri would make him look bad at least, like negative runners tend to.

I have a feeling Floyd is planning to move in this one too. Partly because that's just classic Floyd, and in a fight of this magnitude, he might be inclined to resort to what he used to do best.

And Pacquiao might do surprisingly well against a moving Floyd, as long as he's not too reckless. Floyd might have more success walking Manny down, playing the aggressive counter puncher, and even forcing Pacquiao to fight inside which is not Pacquiao's game at all.

It is an interesting style matchup, it could play out many different ways.

Yeah I agree with you...I think Floyd would have more success if he walks Manny down.

Pac's best strategy would be to not allow pbf wear custom made gloves like he usually does, and also to not have bayless as the referee, who based on the second Maidana fight, is clearly in Mayweather's pocket....

But Japanese women have tiny vaginas. Everything is relative. If pbf moved to Japan, the domestic violence and bad attitude may end.
