I'm not sure if Garcia is nimble enough to out maneuver Cuevas. They can obviously hurt each other. Cuevas seems like he'd outlast Garcia if neither got ktfo. When I started looking at vids of older fighters Cuevas was one of the guys that stood out as a lot better than I thought he would be. Great offensive footwork. Solid, decent guys didn't have a chance and couldn't go rounds because they couldn't stay away and he hit like a motherfucker.
Cuevas is a lot faster on his feet and dynamic than Garcia, but in this case, it's not really an advantage cause it puts him in garcia weelhouse. It would be an inside war, Cuevas hits harder and is faster, but Garcia is probably tougher and more sound technically (more compact with his punched). The safe pick is that Cuevas pounds him without too much fuss, but I could also see garcia losing the first few rounds, and catch Cuevas with something big and turn the fight around
Ugo and Sly are trolls. Doesn't matter what era Cuevas fought in.... he simply had too much firepower for the EXTREMELY hittable Garcia. Garcia doesn't have the mobility to avoid Cuevas, and he isn't a big enough hitter at 147 to deter him. Cuevas mid round stoppage.
