Ended with the dude down 2, 3 times, and Wlad threw a quintuple left hook at one point. He doesn't go out from the first shot that lands clean either, like Khan, or pull out of fights repeatedly like Brook.

Khan is watchable because he is a highlight reel KO waiting to happen. He's like Gatti only with a shorter, two-way fuse.

Neither man is a pussy. You don't get whacked in the back of the head by Sam Peter and fight on to win if you are pussy. This comparing Wlad to Khan is ridiculous. And now Khan is clinging on for a payday, wait and see if he fights Brook, I bet he won't

You brought up Wlad. Not me. Of course, Wlad is a higher caliber fighter than Khan.

And Khan will fight Brook. What other opinion besides Brook does he have if Floyd freezes him out?

If Floyd goes another route in May, then Brook is Khan's second best chance at a payday.

I'm no Brit, but I would imagine that Brook-Khan can do better numbers than Froch-Groves II did. Maybe I'm wrong.

Either way, Brook will KO Khan. Kell proved last night that he has a FAARRRR higher ring IQ than Khan. He's quick, and accurate enough with that right hand that Khan will be sleeping.

Actually, Cdogg brought him up  but its immaterial I suppose.

I honestly believe the Brook Khan fight will not happen.

The ends didn't justify the means. A radio phone in-type word I'd usually avoid but that performance was literally shameful.

Who's Khan gonna fight for money then? Alexander? Shit, Alexander most likely beats Khan. Then a matchup with a big money fighter really loses its luster.

Brook will get a gimme hometown defense to score a KO then it'll be Khan-Brook next summer, most likely.

But seriously, I guess that means Khan will fight Josesito Lopez as a tune-up. Fighting Alexander or Guerrero are two fights Khan could easily lose.

The thing of it is with Khan is he is like a Formula 1 car. He could be whizzing about the track, laps ahead of everyone else, and then suddenly, with no hint of an issue, break down.

With Khan, he could beat the shit out of Alexander for 4-5 rounds and look great, look real world class, then just get Urangoed. IT HAPPENS IT HAPPENS.

He won't fight Brook in England and it will be ALL Khans fault. Have you seen the contracts they tried to get Paul McKloskey to sign for their original, aborted fight??

Brook has a title and stateside recognition now. He won't be doing what Ali Baba Jodhpur {Khans manager} tells him to do.

If the fight doesn't happen I imagine it would be Khan's fault. I would think Brook would take pleasure in stretching Khan.

Brook punches straight, and finds openings pretty well. That's really all you need to combat Khan's bullshit combos.

Khan will throw a sloppy ass 5 punch combo, Brook will counter down the middle with his "chocolate brownie" and Khan will be on the canvas.

Oh there is no doubt about that...they will bring in some utter bawbag, probably from Eastern Europe or France for him to fight.

"Kell Brook vs Assine Salif Diao, live from the Sheffield Working Mens Bingo Hall"....write it in stone fella.

Kevin Mitchell of the Guardian figures that Kell Brooks win over Porter not as likely to get as much attention in England as John H Straceys win over Jose Napoles in Mexico.

    Well no shit, Kev.

I watched as much of it as I could bear.
*Porter is worse than Berto. A complete dilettante.
*Quite allot of the holding was down to Porter yo' bum rushing the show.
*Brook can't punch as hard as i had hoped/figured.
    *Both guys are pretty crap.
*That's as much mental activity as I can bring to a fight this abysmal. The end.

Hut Hut and several others were right, Porter fucking sucks. He's terrible at world level. It's really weird he beat ScrubbyZander and Paulie easily.

Brook isn't much better. Thurman would flatten either one of these mooks, so would Gay Marquez.

Porter vs Broner anybody? Battle of the Ohio frauds lol. I'd take Porter in that matchup.

The key for matching Porter is gonna be to put him in with guys who can't punch that hard. I would favor him over a guy like Khan, or Broner. I even think he'd be a handful for Bradley. Timmy is a midget who can't punch.

Put him in with a guy who can punch, and is a decent counter puncher, and he'll lose everytime.

Thurman, and Danny Garcia would check hook Porter into the middle of next week.

Because he just fought last night, and because we're a month away from another meaningful fight.

Why would I be hurting? I'm no Porter fan in the least bit.

I found myself rooting for Brook in there. He at least has SOME technical skills. Not saying he's Salvador Sanchez, but he's a decent technician.

Porter was just rushing in like a caveman, very Aaron Pryor wannabe like. Difference being, Pryor had talent. Porter, well, doesn't.

Exactly. I get confused with being a Khan fan sometimes when actually I just defend him against absurd comments. He is one of the most hated fighters on fightbeat and it's impossible to have a logical conversation about him because of the hatred spewed. Canelo is another fighter it's impossible to discuss on here because of all the ridiculouis comments. And both of thee guys are willing to get in there with the best in the world. I was way off on my prediction last night but I hand it to Brook. He won a close fight. I wouldn't write Porter off just yet either. There are a lot of good matchups for him in this weight class.

I also see that fightbeat has elected Keith Thurman as the next coming. Who has been his toughest opponent so far? I'm definitely not sold on him just yet though his power has been impressive. It wasn't long ago that Provodnokov was the fightbeat instant hard-on for a lot of people around here. That went south in a hurry.

Sorry, Keith Thurman. I always want to call him Richard Thurman because of Richard Sherman.

Thurman was more proven than Brook until last night. Thurman has destroyed Chaves, Karass, and Diaz, whereas prior to last night, Brook had only beaten Senchenko.

We were all saying Porter would beat Brook because he was more proven. But look what happened.

My logic and gut says that Thurman is a better fighter than Brook, and will knock him out. But there's only one way to find out. Thurman's willing to fight Brook. I don't count on Brook be willing to fight Thurman. I think now Brook's whole focus is Khan.

Porter was/is a glorified sparring partner who had 2 decent victories recently...against Malignaggi who can't punch for shit..and bored Alexander...Brook is a slow shitty fighter...Thurman will knock him the FUCK OUT!
