If pacquiao doesn't fight again the eligible boxers could be him along with mayweather jr, jones jr, cotto, bradley, marquez, wald pussy and ward Only 3 can get in first ballot Who makes the cut?
Jones, Pac, and Floyd will be the three to make it. Guaranteed. Not even a question. Bradley should never make the HOF period. Timmy is not a Hall caliber guy by any stretch, but the criteria isn't high.
Marquez ain't making it over Pac. You know that's true. I know you love him, but objectively speaking.... Jones, Floyd, and Pac are top 20 all time greats. Marquez is not.
I dunno how this process works, or the timing, but Pacquiao and Mayweather for certain, followed by Jones and Marquez for consideration.
Definitely RJJ, Floyd, and Pac if they only allow 3. If Pac fights again, then the third inductee would probably be JMM. It's a very deep class.
LOL @ Jones for "consideration". The consensus best fighter of an entire fucking decade is not up for "consideration". He's a lock. What a fairweather Jones fan this guy has become. If anything, consideration will come down to Pac/Marquez, since Marquez is Pac's dad.
Putting Jones and Marquez before Pac would be a farce. But to be honest, it's obvious the 3 chosen would be PBF, Pac and Jones
By the way...it's not even close between Marquez and Pacquiao on career merits. Unlike you though I do think that Marquez is a great great fighter...but Pacquiao is Pacquiao
Roy will Fuck it Up and Fight Again...He May Even Go 4 1/2 Years WITHOUT Fighting, but he'll Eventually Take Another Ill Advised Bout...Watch and See... Sad, Because REED and Bigdawg Made a Pact to Be In Canastota for Roy's Induction...Hopefully it Happens Sometime btwn Now and 2030... Personally, REED Wouldn't Want Roy to Go In w/Floyd and Pac...REED Would Want a Scenario Where Roy is the Headline Inductee... REED
I thought the expression was "second fiddle"? That aside....Roy should have retired after Ruiz. He would have been hailed as the GOAT all now.
Yup, seems he's going the Hector Camacho route. I wouldn't even be surprised to see him fight some scrub in the Turning Stone Casino just down the street from the HOF around 2020 or so, just like Camacho used to do.
They'll make a special exception and Pacq, Roy, Floyd, and Wlad will all get in together. Wlad is the only one who deserves it, though, because he's the only one who might have had a clean career. As to the other guy, zit belly: “There’s always that cloud of suspicion with a modern athlete who performs well and maybe differently as he gets to an advanced athletic age. That has certainly followed Marquez in recent years, particularly after the (fourth Manny) Pacquiao fight,” a contest Marquez won with a paralyzing knockout shot in the sixth round. Kellerman made his remarks when he was interviewed on camera by Radio Raheem Saturday while fans cleared out after the fight at the Forum in Inglewood, California. Marquez, 40, is bigger and stronger, and his punches are at least as precise as they were when I used to watch him perform in his early twenties at the same venue. If you looked closely at his muscular torso Saturday, you could see it was spotted with acne that struck him in middle age. Acne, which could occur naturally, can be a sign of steroid abuse."
yes, Wlad, who has a brother that was caught roiding, and who refused WADA style testing (bar for his last fight), is the only one who is above any doubts. Such an idiotic comment
What happened when Wlad's brother was caught roiding? You need better quality control. You've got shit reading comprehension and I never said he was above any doubts, I said he's the only one who might be clean. You look foolish with your whining.
Wlad took his place IIRC. So what. Do you think that everyone that use juice gets caught? Guy was arounds a proven juicer, and refused all kind of stricter testing. Only an imbecile like you think he deserved the beneifice of the doubts over these other guys (none of whom ever failed a drug test IIRC, bar RJ). Porbably because of blind fanboyism
"Problem" w/Pea is his Greatness was (Almost) LITERALLY Split Down the Middle, btwn 2 Decades...His 90's Exploits are BETTER, but Not Substantially So, Over the 80's...REED Would Give it a 60/40 Split, MAX, in Favor of the 90's... Pea Basically Debuted in '85 and was GREAT Until the Mid 90's...Conversely, the Vast Majority of Roy's Greatness Occurred in the 90's Proper...Like 85-90% of it... REED
Roy Jones was so good...SO GOOD...but his legacy has taken a hit after seeing him lose heart and get knocked the fuck out repeatedly
10 me? Nah. Prime Roy Jones fan for life. But this eggshell chin having quitter motherfucker post Tarver 2....is a different guy altogether
