I don't think anybody believes Danny would actually BEAT a prime DLH. My question is more of, does he last the distance?
Garcia is a big junior welter. He's also not a midget, he's 5'9, which is average height for a welter, yet tall for a junior welter.
Much as I hate the closet cock sucker, nahhh that's not happening. Too much of a handspeed disparity here for Danny to deal with. Garcia isn't naturally an aggressor anyway. He's more of a counter puncher, and DLH is just too fast at a distance, with the power to hurt Garcia, and a jab that could possibly cut him up.
There's nothing Garcia could really do against Oscar other than just "hang tough/hold his ground" type of thing.
Gotta be Oscar. Styleswise, this is a nightmare for Danny because he faces a tall guy with a fast jab and great movement. He won't be able to counter Oscar effectively I don't think. Oscar either gets him outta there late or wins a UD.
I wouldn't go that far. Garcia WOULD hit Oscar. Danny's a damn good fighter, and Oscar was NEVER a defensive genius. DLH would simply hit Garcia a lot more........
Pretty bad style matchup for Danny, I think this fight would be 1 sided. Oscar too big and fast, he'd stop Garcia. Garcia is a pretty big 140 pounder himself, but he'd be fighting a guy who is bigger, faster, and more powerful. Oscar has pretty much every advantage.
It Resembles the First 2 2/3 Rounds of Khan-Garcia, Only DeLa DOESN'T Flinch when Garcia Lands the Big Left Hook to the Neck and CONTINUES to Outclass Him. DeLa by Late Stoppage or Wide UD. Pretty 1-Sided Bout, Either Way. REED
