Just to make sure, I have seen people call him a quitter (on these forums, no less), not that I ever called him one.
the only one here who's laced 'em up and knows anything about boxing. she also claimed the stoppage in the 2nd fight was horrible, one of the "worst job of refereeing since Richard Steele blew the call on the Chavez-Taylor 1 fight"
the quitting issue certainly should be touched on, though the querry must be properly phrased. ask Vasquez, "Are you highly offended when a never-was trying his damnedest to portray himself as a has-been accuses you, a world champion who has reached the elite level of the sport, of quitting in one of the most brutal bouts this decade inwhich you sustained a serious injury....?????" as a follow up question I would also advise you ask Mr. Vasquez whether he considers it kosher for said never-was to give himself an e-nickname, or if in fact he considers that as preposterous as everyone present here does.
Whom does he consider his best/toughest rival: Oscar Larios or Rafael Marquez. Which loss was harder for him to come back from?
What effect did the change in trainers (hiring Rudy Perez, not having Roach with him) have in the rematch? What improvements does he feel he's made with Perez in his corner?
