that Japanese fella was big and had a good chin but the jackal beat the fuck outta him. dudes jaw looked broke. kinda reminded me of Roy vs hall tho not as dynamic a beating. Knockdown of rigondeaux in Rd 7 was a flash/balance thing. Second one was a push. Not a great showing by the jackal but he still dominated. As I have said if you put him in with an aggressive opponent who comes to fight it will be entertaining

The first knockdown was nice, Rigo didn't look hurt but it was good to see someone chase after him and keep throwing as he tried to escape. He actually seemed more hurt just prior to the second knockdown (which shouldn't have counted), the Japanese fella landed a nice shot. Rigo did bust him up pretty bad though.

Could be the best thing for Rigo, not looking as invincible ahead of 2015. Other fighters might be more willing now to face him.

Reading tWitter you'd think it was a competitive fight. I attribute that to shitty streams. The guy won round 7 on the 1 legit knocknown and was getting beat up for most of that round also. Otherwise shut out

The best bet for rigondeaux may be staying in Japan aND facing yamanaka or uchiyama. Seems the people there appreciate him

Yeah true, it wasnt that competitive. The Japanese fella kept trying and landed more on Rigo than we're used to seeing because of the constant aggression, which may have contributed to the perception on twitter but Rigondeaux beat the shit out of him, he was landing that straight left hard and often.

Rigo requires lengthy explanation and caveats .... then his performances are impressive...

Just watched the fight. Champ and challenger both deserve credit. Challenger took the fight to Rigo, never gave up. Rigo faced a little adversity and came through it. His class and a ruthless streak told in the end. Challenger looked HURT; his face told the story.
