    What's so special about this?
It's as if you've never seen Darth Vager before and you're totally unaware of what he can do with 'The Farce'

I enjoyed it a lot. As just a movie it's above average but for a Star Wars fan there's a lot of good shit in there. Not as good as TFA but good enough to look forward to more spinoffs.

3/5 star maximum. No idea why this got such high praise. An interminable bore for the most part, one good Vader scene doesn't excuse it. The two main leads were awful and what exactly was the point of Whittakers' character? Does nothing in this film and could (should) have been cut entirely.

The dark, gritty take on the franchise evokes present day images with terrorist garb etc. an interesting take, sure but this film completely lacks any of the charm of the originals whilst being lauded in most part for being better than the last batch.

Seems to have been made solely to answer the question of why the DS would have such an obvious weakness in the original. A story that didn't need to be told. A one watch at best.

Not a fan of these newer SW films. Are they better than the prequels? Yes but a colonoscopy is probably better than Attack of the clones, that doesn't mean we should be glad of the alternative.

Yes, The Genius, apologize for giving an accurate, objective and honest review on a tired franchise...

this film was brilliant imo. a good star wars movie, as opposed to a shit star wars movie (i.e. episodes I-III).

The next one has to explain why the heroine is so perfect at everything. They do that well and I might look more favorably on TFA.

I have to agree though that rogue one was a pointless film. It was a story that didn’t need to be told.

IT NEEDED TO BE TOLD, DAMMIT!
I was waiting for that film since 1977! It filled all the blanks nicely and felt more like a Star wars movie than TFA which was basically a rip-off of A New Hope.

I thought rogue one was super cool and i was impressed how they layered in characters (even ones of dead actors) from original movies.

There were no blanks that needed to be filled. We knew that the rebels somehow managed to get their hands on the plans and beamed them up to leia. The End. Who cares how it happened?

Lol. You could just as easily say, "we know the rebels managed to blow up the original death star. Who cares how it happened?"
