Chocolatito doesn't look right...but he is still rocking GYM every now and then....both really landing hard shit..
I didn't expect that. Gonzalez was outclassed tonight. I was expecting the same kind of fight as the first. Nice ko.
I remember a few years ago when Gonzalez groupies were saying he could possibly move up and beat Rigo.
Seems like the first fight may have ruined Gonzalez. I thought he won the first fight. This fight he just didn't have it.
Good Night of Fights... REED Certainly Didn't Pick a KO, but he's Not Surprised Rungvisai Won Again, Either...Just like the 1st Fight, he Consistently BEAT Chocolatito to the Punch...Bigger, Stronger, Faster, More Dynamic...In Hindsight, a Tune-Up Would've Been Better, but Even Then, Chocolatito Wasn't Gonna Beat Rungvisai... It's Sad Most Americans Will Sum Up Chocolatito's Career Based on his Last 2 Fights, but the TRUTH of the Matter is, he's NOT a 115 Pounder. His Face was PUFFY and his Body was SOFT @ the Weight...If Ricardo Lopez ISN'T Penalized for NOT Fully Testing the Limits of his Body, in Terms of Moving Up Multiple Weights, Chocolatito SHOULDN'T Be Penalized Either for Doing the Opposite...He's Arguably THE Best Little Guy of All Time, Period... Rungvisai vs. Inoue would Be an Intriguing Bout... Inoue Made a Pretty Good 1st Impression...Excellent Jab, Works Off the Jab Splendidly, Has a Complete Arsenal of Punches, LIKES Hurting People and Has that "Asshole" Way About him, Similar to Lomachenko, Which REED Loooooooooooooves.... Cuadras vs. Estrada was Obviously the Most COMPETITIVE Fight, but Even Though Estrada's Earned the Title Shot by Winning the Eliminator, REED Wouldn't Be Opposed to a RE w/Cuadras, on the Undercard of Rungvisai vs. Inoue... REED
Nothing special? He'll beat everyone else on this card, without much problem. He's clearly the best 115 pounder in the world, I hope he can move up to 118 but not sure as he is pretty small. He'd destroy Gonzalez easier than Rungvisai, he should probably be a tune up before meeting the Thai
Ricardo Lopez is widely criticized for not testing himself and often accused of being protected. There's a reason why nobody mentions Lopez alongside Chavez, Sanchez, Olivares, Marquez when discussing Mexican greats. And when you call Gonzalez the best "little guy" of all time, I'm guessing you mean below 115? Cause some people consider 126 and below the "little guys" of boxing. In which case, Gonzalez ain't even in the top 10 discussion all time.
Yes, he is. The general consensus on Lopez is he was one of the most TALENTED Mexican fighters, but his resume damn sure doesn't stack up to a Chavez, or Sanchez. Hell, Sanchez by 23 had a resume that shits on Lopez's entire career.
Rungvisai is good, without a doubt, I thought he'd win again and prove the doubters wrong (though not in such one sided fashion obviously). He'll be a tough fight for Inoue, but I pick Inoue. Just a cut above imo, he's skilled, rangey, and hits fucking hard. I can't see Rungvisai walking him down to the extent he did Gonzalez once the tastes the Monster power.
Being Left Off Lists AIN'T The Same as Being Criticized, Bruh... REED's Heard Lopez's Resume Noted Also, but Whenever the Topic of Why he Didn't Explore More Weights was Brought Up, People Would Go into the % of Body Mass He'd Have to Gain, "Effective" Body Mass, etc... REED Has RARELY Heard CRITICISM of Lopez Based on NOT Moving Up More Weight Classes... But Before this Thread Goes Off on a Ricardo Lopez Tangent, the POINT Is, Boxing Fans SHOULDN'T Harp on Chocolatito's Last 2 Fights, @ his 4th Weight No Less, as Much as they Should the BULK of his Career... REED
agREED... REED was Only Scoffing @ the Notion of Inoue Dominating Rungvisai...Rungvisai's a Volume Punching Souf'Paw w/Power, Accuracy and he's Got a Good Set of Wheels...His BIGGEST Asset is the Clever Usage of his HEAD...He Toes that Line btwn Flagrant and "Accidental" VERY Well... But Yeah, Inoue HAS to Be Favored...He'd Better Watch that Head Though... REED
