Antnee: plz archive the 20/2021 thread and sticky this one. Tanx.

Yesterday, Fri 13th, Brentford 2:0 Arsenal. Gunners looked a bit gummy.

So far today, a very briken, messy, open game between United of Manchester and United of Leeds.

Full house, wankfest in effect amongst the usual noisemakers.

Varane signing announced before game, very cheesy.

Leeds are resolute. They resolutely give the ball away in the center of the field.

Mad how that one turned out. Leeds looked well in the game, I left at 1-1. Couldn't believe it when I checked my phone again.

    Leeds really really missed Phillips.

United were good but we know they can be...lovely warm day, against a team they beat 6-3 last season that can't play on the riad really...full house too.

Winter will set in. Pogba will get cold and dream of warmer climes. His agent will agitate.

    Olly will make excuses :Jest:

The complicity-or overt participation if you prefer - of commentators and observers of the game in the nonsense of the game cannot be overstated.

They never have anything other than fawning adulation for whatever the latest fiscal outrage is.

They don't offer a critical analysis, preferring to tell you how excited they are with Jack Grealish appearance in a City shirt.

Grealish has done very little. Spurs have been resilient.

Wheres the point of VAR when the ball clearly comes off the arse of a City player and they give a goal kick?

Word on the street is Celtic tanked their CL qualifiers deliberately in order to avoid the chance of being drawn in the same group as Dortmund.

Missed the first half but Spurs have been much the better team in this second half. So much space on the right hand side.

You could have had 32-1 on West Ham to win from 2-1 down/Spurs win.

    Looks a good bet now.

As Ange has said publicly, we still have some noticable fitness issues as the drop off from ~60m in is still a guaranteed feature. We also have squad depth issues & cant make the sort of changes we did today without a noticable unravelling. But serious grounds for optimism right now, it feels like we might be on the cusp of a vintage season if we get a couple more good boys in. Moving from front to back, the interplay & our inventiveness in breaking lines and progressing the ball is visibly improving game by game....we're onto something here. Angeball....believe

I was only in Glasgow a couple of days. I didn't have the chance to speak to any Rangers fans but i'm guessing it would be the same story.

It would be funny seeing him come to the touchline in a neutral warmup outfit about to be subbed in but nobody knows for which side. :Jest:

Two biggish games and City failed to score in both. Perhaps they need a striker?

Levy should set the price at 300 million up front. No installments.
