No way. Hearns wins it but Martinez gives him a real good fight. My dear Huthut-man is close to the truth
I think Martinez would make it competitive due to his speed and awkward style. But Hearns would find the range sooner rather than later and he would stop Martinez in the late rounds. Hearns TKO 11
I just cant see a guy with Martinez's style ding well against Hearns... he rushes in all the time with one looping shot and then holds, gets separated by the ref, dances away and then does it again... I cant see that working at all, and the simple fact is that I can hardly imagine a more suicidal strategy then to try and beat Thomas Hearns to the punch with a leap... Martinez would have to try and brawl, take a lot of chances... he definitely has some gumption, he can wing it a bit when the mood suits him, but theres no way he does that well enough to push Tommy Around... I just think he gets tagged hard and gets hurt badly early on and is forced to be cautious, where he cant possibly do anything but be defensive and get easily outworked... Tommy drops him early, Sergio rises and tries to figure out a way to both avoid getting hurt and land one great shot... I think he fails miserably on the latter and is comprehensively outpointed... I think 10-5 is generous, frankly... I'm thinking closer to 12-3
