After some hard work, testing different services and research I finally found a new place that offered the specifications necessary for our continued growth. Although our current host has recently been pretty good, it's those previous times where the site just disappeared or was unreachable that bothered me. The price of the new service is actually 3x more expensive, we have 5x more hard drive space, a 24/7 dedicated support that actually speak english, and puts us in more control. I even have the ability to host other sites. As far as the forums, at some point I'll have to shut them down to do the final backup. I've already run a test on the new server and had no issues. All of our data is backed up on two computers at home. So I anticipate no problems. I also wanted to do this before the big fight this weekend since the extra traffic should prove a test for the system. If it doesn't work out I will roll back to our current host where I still have an active account. I will pay this month just in case we need to move back asap.
