Manhunter and Red Dragon are solid movies, Silence of the Lambs is a masterpiece.

    You get the hose again.

Story aside, you can't really compare Red Dragon (shit) to Manhunter (excellent).

I loved both the first and the second. It's close but Blade 2 just edges it or me.

The third one was terrible. I agree with you 100% on that.

This new Blade Runner was one of the best sequels I've ever seen.

It was good, but honestly after a couple of days I couldn't remember its plot nor its ending. So its basically competent, but forgettable.

Just like the first movie. That's why I said it was one of the best sequels I've seen. Shot for shot, plot for plot. Great sequel to the orignal.

Good calls on Temple of Doom, Bride of Frankenstein and Beneath the Planet of the Apes.

The second Austin Powers movie was better than the first.

One of the funniest movie ever! I only laughed harder in Young Frankenstein and Airplane. The Spy Who Shagged Me ranks #3 in my top funniest films evah.

Yeah it’s up there in my top funniest too. Only funnier ones I can think of off the top of my head are a few spoof films, Airplane, Fatal Instinct and I’m Gonna Git You Sucka.

Watched Airplane! the other night on Netflix and as good as it was, I struggled to get through it....still quite funny in places though.

I struggled to get through that post

Clearly the greatest comedy ever made

Also the first Austin Powers was brilliant, the sequels were awful

Don't see how you could find the first one brilliant and the second awful. How so?

Heather Graham was fucking abysmal, horrible, clearly didn't "get" the material the way Hurley had ... she sucked

The fucking mini-me thing was unfunny, try hard trash

Fat Bastard was a one note joke that was funny for 5 minutes then sucked

The first film was fucking hilarious, Liz Hurley understood the humor and was excellent which makes a huge difference... there wasn't a reliance on unnecessary extra characters and the spoofs of Bond movies were a lot more clever

The third one was unwatchable... Beyoncé was horrendous

    No-talent cunt who disappeared quick.

A small cunt who I hope dies being stomped to death by 5-yr old kids

Truly the most annoyingly untalented female 'entertainer' ever who has somehow become the richest.

Did you watched 'Loaded Weapon"? Very underrated. Same with 'Spy Hard".

Yeah Loaded Weapon was good and to a lesser extinct so was the sequel. I also liked Val Kilmer in Top Secret, Scary Movie and the entire Naked Gun series. I didn’t care too much for Spy Hard.

    No

Great comedy but every frame of Airplane contains something funny... it is a work of genius

    For me it’s Trading Places.

But it depends on how you define best comedy.

As I see it there are two definitions:

    1. Funniest film
    2. Best film that’s a comedy

For me trading places wins both categories...but comedy is subjective and I realize that some people love the silly stupid stuff like anything Leslie Neilson is in.

    All of those were horrible

The only really funny part was Lassard getting secretly blown

In this next SLIIIIIIIIIDE... we see a very interesting thing.... OH MY GOD

Watched it on Monday night - first time in years.
But there's the problem: hardly any comedy 'ages' well.

Now get back to ya Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In DVD boxset, ya dolt.
