He´s nowhere near as good as The Maguire: best Spidey evah!

Oh rest-assured, Downey Jr will be in it....it gives him a chance to indulge in some pathetic double-entendre play with the stupidly young and fit Marisa Tomei as Aunt May. How ridiculous.

Plus, the bit at the end with Iron-Man flying around gives it away...

Not necessarily. I get the sense from this trailer that the story is woven somewhere during the timeline of Civil War. I'm pretty sure there's a clip of Spiderman swinging around Ant-Man (as giant man). Look closer. So maybe those scenes are just in the context of Civil War but not part of this new narrative.

It looks like it happens just right after the events of Civil War: Peter looking at his fight against Giant-man in his laptop at school, Stark's employee asking if he got the suitcase with the 'upgrades' Tony send him, the lines 'you are not ready yet' to tackle the Vulture by himself...

I hope it has less Tony Stark than it currently looks. I have high hopes for it.

Still, although I lok forward to seeing it...I'm more hyped for Guardians, Black Panther and Wonder Woman.

    OMG!
I just learned that after 'Homecoming" Sony will be pulling out of the deal with Marvel to share Spiderman and have announced their prior stupid plans of Spidey-spin-off characters films (Venom, Black Cat, etc). This studio is run by MORONS!!! :bangh:

    Pure DOGSHIT.

Spider-Boy or Diversity-Boy or whatever you want to call it....this is Marvel meets Highschool Musical / Glee.

    Fucking terrible.

Tom Holland's the youngest actor to play the part of a 15 year old Peter Parker and he did quite a good job I thought. He is a boy after all, not a man, but I felt like he wasn't as shy and nerd-like in his personality as depicted in the comics. This version of Parker had more confidence and arrogance about him.

this movie is a real piece of crap

spiderman is a kid and basically only a minor nuisance...the 'bad guys' (who really arent any worse than small time street thugs) dont even want to bother with him - they just shoo him away repeatedly and carry on with other stuff
