Well, besides the trailer, photos and premise has already turned off many hardcore Trek fans, to add insult to injury, the producers have made some stupid political statements (saying that the show's Klingons are modeled after Trump voters in their desire for 'Racial purity') that is already alienating 50% of its target audience. Well done, stupid liberals!

THIS SHOW SUCKS!!!

You can browse review after review after review on youtube and it seems that everybody plain HATES THIS SERIES! They point that while this is supposed to be like a prequel of the 1966 series, the producers have reimagined, revamped and tossed away so mucvh that the continuity not only has been lost, but just plain doesn't make any sense! The reviews also moans at the forced Politically correctness that, while past shows had it in a very light and was accepted as part of Roddenberry vision of the future, now is like Antifas are writing the script alienating even those that might agree with them. Other major flaw that everybody pointed out is that the main character is a total cunt. In the very first episode she commits one of the most despicable acts a Federation officer could do and are we supposed to root for her? While the special effects gets kudos, nothing else does. When hardcore fans are now saying that seth MacFarlane's 'The Orville" is THE real Star Trek series now that sends a clear message to CBS that they blew it big time. So much that even Trekkies who hate JJ Abrams for destroying Star Trek in their eyes are now willing to forgive him for not going as LOW as Star Trek Discovery and are calling for a boycott.

 

I could have told you months ago this show was going to be utter shit.....but it was such a obvious given, everyone woulf have gone ´Yeah, we know´

 

I saw the first three episodes and I really liked them.

 

Star Trek Discovery (STD) has a 87% score on RT.

 

It´s a shit TV series.....utterly shit.

 

I've never been in to Star Trek but must admit that the 2009 film was a pretty enjoyable watch.
