I think he was too. But again, people were still saying the shit they say about HC that they did about Hamil. His acting was atrocious in a lot of those scenes.

I'm with Anthony. I don't think Hayden is that bad of an actor. He was pretty good in like 3 other films I saw him in. He's decent, not great, but not bad. Yes he was pretty bad (at times) in the Star Wars films but I blame that on the writing and directing more than anything.

Jedis were not supposed to fall in love, get married and have children since that kind of life can easily lead to the Dark Side (idiot Anakin thought he was immune when he broke that oath and that was his downfall). No, I don't think Finn (John Boyega) is the offspring of a Jedi, much less Mace Windu (if he was then he should be older than Luke & Han). IMO Finn is a stormtrooper that betrays the Empire and escapes in a tie fighter ship that crashes in that new desert planet (is NOT Tatooine) there he meets Rey (Daisy Ridley) and later becomes Luke Skywalker's padawan as Luke senses the Force being strong in him. I also speculate that Luke dies and Finn inherits his lightsaber. Luke will continue mentoring him as a ghost just like Obi Wan Kenobi did with him. Finn becoming a jedi apprentice is the Force awakening thus the title.

I could be wrong, but those are my conclusions based on the trailers, poster and photos.

Being a Jedi would be the best excuse ever to smash chicks without ever having to worry about commitment. And if you fuck up somewhere down the line and the bitch says she won't get an abortion you can just force pull that mofo right out her womb.

Jedis have the power to control minds. So getting pussy would be very easy. Plus you can use the force to prevent the sperm ever reaching the ovaries.

Like I said back before anyone posted threads on Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens - this will be the first-ever US$3billion grossing movie:

    hahahahaha

Their mind tricks don't work on everyone though. It's not like they're Charles Xavier.

Jedi are very overrated. Most of them were killed off in that arena with the droids in Episode 2. Magneto, BY HIMSELF, would have destroyed all of those droids without batting an eyelid.

It'll likely be the best star wars film since Empire Strikes Back. The mere fact that George Lucas isn't involved bodes well for this film.

The overall 'look' of it - just crushes and then shits over anything 'Star-Wars-Lucas-ized'....

I just hope J.J. Abrams doesn't give us another turkey. I also hope my speculation on the plot is inaccurate as that would be the most lame rip-off plot ever. :hair:

    Turkey?
    Mission Impossible III?
    Cloverfield?
    Super 8?
    Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol?
    Star Trek: Into Darkness?
    Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation?

Can't see any Turkeys here my friend...that's as an impressive resume as you can get, both critically and box-office.

Star Trek into Darkness is a bit lame IMO and Super 8 has zero replay value but the awesomeness of those last three M.I films more than makes up for those two. I never did sit through Cloverfield. I just hope the studios don't get scared and start micromanaging the guy. That's usually the reason for many a failed film

In that case, we should buy some Disney shares.

Of those films you listed he did not directed the last two Mission Impossible. The one he did, 'MI:III', had so-so reviews and the lowest box office grosses in the franchise. 'Super 8' was merely okay and a modest hit also don't forget to give some credit to producer Steven Spielberg. "Cloverfield' with its headache inducing camera movement has zero replay value. 'Star Trek: Into Darkness' is the most hated Star Trek movie ever by the Trekkies and it did not improve over the prior film's box office grosses. I watched it only once.

His sole gem, which you did not mentioned, is his reboot of Star Trek which is the most fun film of the franchise, got glowing reviews and made some nice profit for the studio in the process.

He did as good a job as Rocky Balboa did against Mason Dixon:
    "You're a crazy old man".
