Lets stop this nonsense about Bud being the greater fighter of his generation. Usyk has a much better resume and didnt waste 3/4 of his career fighting no hopers
Joshua and Fury are both shit fighters. I'm sorry, but they are. I'm not thattt impressed with Usyk beating them. Wins over Spence and Canelo are more impressive. Usyk himself considers Bud the greatest fighter of this generation. He has more respect for Crawford than you do.
This only shows that you have a poor understanding of the cultural difference between slavic people and the usa. Bragging about being the best is frowned upon over there, while its encouraged in the US. So what Usyk is saying is pretty much meaningless. And werent you the one constantly saying that canelo wasnt that good? Bit weird to put Bud on such a pedestal for beating a very overrated fighter. And lets not forget that Usyk resume is not limited to these two fighters
What is with this bizarre cult following of Shedeur? There’s the weirdest conspiracies and victim mentality when it comes to him. It reminds me of Tim Tebow. Even now days you’ll occasionally read some comments online of people claiming that Tebow was the victim of “anti-Christian discrimination” (in the NFL of all places ). Should Shedeur fail in his NFL career, you’ll probably see similar things years from now. Even if Shedeur has the potential to be very good, he’s on the Browns, so they would likely ruin that. More so than other sports and other positions, I think QBs can be ruined by being on teams without the right support.
Sheduer's cult is waayyyyyy worse than Tebow's ass. And yes, they have an excuse for everything. Every fuckin thing.
Some of the excuses made for him seem kind of insulting to the other black QBs. I hear stuff like “teams didn’t want a black QB that is outspokenly confident and not a kiss ass” It’s not the old days… half of the teams in the NFL have a black QB. All of them are kiss-asses? None of them were cocky until the great Shedeur came along? Former #1 overall pick and NFL MVP Cam Newton wasn’t cocky?
Yeah, as Black man (not to sound like Stephen A ) I find the racism excuses pretty lame. People don't like arrogant assholes who haven't proven anything, Black or White, nobody likes those type of people. The media/fans HATED Baker Mayfield for awhile, because he's a cocky guy who hadn't proven a fuckin thing yet. Now the media/fans like Mayfield after he's proven he can play in this league. And because he's matured and turned into a leader. No one dislikes BLACK Jayden Daniels --- cause Jayden isn't an asshole. No one hates Jalen Hurts either. They hate the Eagles as a team, but not Hurts personally. Cause Hurts isnt a Me-first asshole like Shedeur. I'd say the same about Dak. He only gets hate because people hate the Cowboys. If he was on any other team, people would like him. Shedeur hate has nothing to do with race. People of all colors HATE cocky nepo babies.
Yeah congrats to Bud. He has nothing to prove. A Canelo rematch makes him richer, but he already beat him so bad last time, and I don’t think Bud ever cared about clout or fame. The money would be nice but Bud strikes me as a guy who probably is smart about his spending habits unlike guys like Floyd, and he’s someone who I could easily get into the trainer ir manager role as well.
Good for him..... There was nothing out there other than a BOOTS fight at 154-160. N had he won nobody other than US would consider it a good victory.... Undisputed in a few divisions....decent resume...sure 1st ballot HOF......it all still feel kinda underwhelming.
Yep The accolades hes getting are crazy. Great career, but he still had a shitload to prove. Sp his retirement is dissapointing. And the standard to be considered generationnal is diminishing quickly. Hell a few years ago, wveryone and their mothers were criticizing pbf for his cherry pickings and hohum resume when he finally retired. Now, Bud is getting the royal treatment even though his resume is much much weaker than pbf one
I hear that. When you put his career along side so many all time greats Bud's is lacking a bit. At the same time pretty much any fighter who retires when on top can always have something more to achieve.
Greatness can be debated between the two. I cant with a straight face say Usyk is better though. The eye test has always plainly pointed to Crawford being the best fighter of this generation. If Crawford was a natural cruiserweight in size the way Usyk is, does anybody doubt for a second that he could move up and beat palookas like Joshua and Fury?
Probably But coulda, woulda, shoulda means pretty much nothing. If Bud had the same drive that Usyk has, we wouldnt be having all these hypothetical scenarios
i think usyk best fighter of this most recent generation. crawford looked incredible vs. spence. i didnt think so much against canelo (feel like canelo has been on slide for years). to me crawford is an all time who knows considering his opposition. and his massive weight jump shouldnt be ignored. the guy gained 20 lbs of muscle in his mid 30s while retaining conditioning and speed. off of the eye test though i tend to agree, crawford is an obvious atg. but usyks run to me is better.
Crawford is obviously a tremendous fighter, but who is the best 168lb-er he'd start as favourite against? Who's the best Middleweight he beats? It's a desert in there. Absolutely atrocious. Stick him in either division in the 1980s/1990s and he wouldn't even bother himself. Mind, neither would Clenelo... Usyk has skills but the same applies. Furry is decent but the rest are absolute dreck. If these are the best of a generation, it speaks volumes. MTF

They're probably trying to arrange custody of the little freckled bitch. Triple G: "How about he goes to school by you, and he stays with me on weekends?" Bud: "Thats cool with me." Triple: "You are very easy to co-parent with. Thank you."
