Franklin is better than Pulver, especially the version that Faber beat. When did Faber beat Griffin? :dunno:

I do agree that Nog has the better resume, but career resumes mean shit when we are talking about recent performances for PFP. Nog almost got KTFO by Herring and probably would have if Herring would have continued. Sylvia was also beating the shit oput of Nog until the late submission.

Faber has not had any trouble with any opponents as of late.

My bad, misread it. Thought u meant anyone he has fought. I fdon't think Franklin is better than Pulver. Don't forget..Pulver was undefeated at 145 until Faber got to him.

Because his competition is shit like I said earlier. He's fought a WAY past prime Pulver and won. He fought Tyson Griffin and got fucking pounded. It's not necessarily his fault but there are more than 5 guys better than Faber.

And Nog has not been fighting guys past their prime?? Don't forget, Nog lost to a MW/LHW in Henderson.

Before the Swanson fight it had been forever since Pulver fought at 145. WHo did he really beat in that division? Pulver has looked like a shot and shopworn fighter for quite some time now. A fresh, early in his career Pulver is probably better than Franklin but currently? No. Hell he even got smashed by Joe Lauzon.

Pulvers record is not the the issue. The issue is who has been more DOMINANT in their respective divisions lately, and the answer is Faber.

in 1999? Yeah that's relevant. Since then Nog avenged that loss. He also has beaten Herring times 3,Sylvia,Barnett,Werdum,Kharitonov,Cro Cop and Coleman (when it meant something), The only guy who is without a doubt his superior is Fedor. Ranking Faber in front of him is a joke.

You were trying to use Pulver's record at 145 to prop him up so you made it an issue. Dominant? He fucking should be, Big Nog has fought 10 times the competition Faber has.

How is it a joke?? Look at the records of the last 2 years. How can this be a joke?? Faber has been more dominant. Nog has been a punching bag.

Curran and Pulver are far from nobodies.

Jumping N on the Nog/Faber Debate...

Personally, REED Rates Faber Higher Based on RECENCY...He's Looked SPECTACULAR Lately, whereas Big Nog HASN'T...

If Pound for Pound is about CAREER Accomplishments, then Fedor will have a Deathgrip on the # 1 Spot from NOW til the END of Time...
